I cannot recommend Cuento.Studio enough! From start to finish, my experience was nothing short of exceptional. The owner, Johnny, is incredibly accommodating, responsive, and kind. He went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect for my full day of shoots, He answered all of my questions promptly and with so much patience.

The studio space itself is spacious, very well maintained, and thoughtfully designed for a variety of photoshoot needs (chairs, bench, couch, stools, lighting & lighting accessories.) It didn't only have 1 back drop but 3 areas (yes, 3!) where you can take photos. It’s clean, organized, and the perfect environment to get creative.

If you're looking for a photography studio look no further. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending this place to all my friends and family.

This studio is the top choice in the Bay Area. I highly recommend it for any professional needs. We recently held a photoshoot here, and the experience was outstanding. The studio is spacious and beautifully designed, with an excellent cyclorama that stands out as the best I’ve encountered. I approached Johnny about filming a music video for one of my singles because I was inspired by his previous work in cinematography. Unfortunately, I didn’t follow through, and it never happened... until a couple of years later when he sent me a text saying, "I have a studio space now if you’re ready to make a music video! 🙌" The timing was perfect, as I had recently recorded some new music.

Seeing Cuento Studio for the first time reignited the creative fire in both of us. I shared my newest music with him, and we sat in the studio, enthusiastically bouncing ideas off each other and building on our excitement. I knew it was real when I marked our shoot day on my calendar—it was finally going to happen!

Johnny is the ultimate hype man! When I arrived at Cuento, he had my name on the wall, my song blasting, and the set ready to go (check out the images). There is also a well-furnished dressing room with exceptional lighting, as well as a fully stocked lounge area. I was nervous because it was my first time filming a music video where I was the main focus. But Johnny provided great direction, made me feel comfortable, and was super fun to work with. He made one of my dreams come true that day, and I look forward to more collaborations.

Working with Johnny and creating this music video was an incredible experience. It was a perfect blend of creativity, enthusiasm, and professionalism. I'm beyond grateful for the opportunity to bring my vision to life in such an inspiring environment, and I can't wait to see what we create together next <3

Whenever we need studio space, we rent from them as well, and it’s always a seamless experience. Erika and Johnny create such a warm and welcoming environment, making every visit feel special. As a parent with young kids, it's soo hard to get a good family photo...but all that changed when we visited Cuento!

The studio is run by a lovely couple who are professional, fun, and know exactly what they're doing. Erika has an eye for detail and suggested a bunch of poses that best suited my family. She even brought out a steamer when she noticed wrinkles on my son's dress shirt and even helped me touch up my makeup in their super cute glam room. They seriously have EVERYTHING you need!

Erika interacted with my kids during the entire shoot and got them to laugh/smile in all the photos, which is so rare for anyone to do. Her husband Johnny was quick with the camera and captured so many great shots. They created such a fun and comfortable environment and made the whole session stress free for us. I can't recommend this place enough!

They showed up again when I unexpectedly asked to lock up the studio as we had to go to another location for part of the shoot. Cuento Studio is an absolute gem in the East Bay. Johnny assisted and shot a friend's music video and ensured we had everything we needed and more. The space is clean, spacious and has a variety of different backdrops for your shoots. Additionally the dressing room is impressive and the kitchen is equipped with snacks. Highly recommend 10/10
