I’ve been using DIG for years. I have 5 acres with a food forest, foundation plantings, and large veggie garden. They are friendly and helpfull, and the items arrive promptly. This is my latest purchase - these valves took literally moments to install and they open and close smoothly. They allow me to quickly change areas of irrigation with a turn of the valve- highly recommended!

I purchased an irrigation timer from Dig Corp. What model? Hard to say, since there is absolutely no indication anywhere on the device for model number, serial number, or even the name of the company. I believe it is a 400A based on the pictures in the instruction manual, which, by the way, is pretty pathetic.

But here's the real problem. The programming is all done with menus, but the menus seem to have been designed in about 1996. It's ridiculous. It's so freaking complicated, and I'm pretty much of a geek about this stuff. It took me an hour to get through basic programming. And then, a few weeks later when I needed to make an adjustment, I had to completely relearn everything about the device, because there is absolutely nothing that is obvious.

One really bad feature is that there is no indicator on the screen to tell you when the valve is open or closed, perhaps the most critical thing you need to know at any given time. Also, there is nothing to tell you what anything on the screen actually means. It can show you 12:22, and you don't know whether that means 22 minutes after twelve or December 22. Or 4:00, and no way to know if that means four minutes, four hours, four hours until the valve opens or until it closes, or if that's when it's next set to come on

It's just a horrible interface. The only reason I gave the device two stars instead of one is that the device itself seems relatively well made. The only reason I bought it was because it was one of the few out there that actually tell you the size of the valve and the max flow rate.

In the picture I've included, is a smaller valve. It is too small for what I need, but the programming is absolutely simple. All of the same features as the Dig Corp valve, but the interface was designed sometime within the last decade.

After trying to adapt a old system that my father had rigged up, Raul Carlos from Dig Corporation tech department helped me tremendously. I seriously know I could not have done it without his help. I modified to this setup after fixing my father's problem. He was very knowledgeable and patient and told me exactly what to pick up. I also installed six other battery operated timers across the property. Everything is working smoothly. Thank you for your help Raul, you're the best!

I purchased a kit from Home Depot and when I got home I realized the kit was missing the 1/4 inch tubing. I emailed DIG to see if they would send me the missing part or if I should just return my kit. Within a couple hours I got an email asking for my address so they'd know where to send it. No questions asked. When I received the package I was surprised to find two rolls of tubing instead of one, to compensate for the issue. I was absolutely blown away by their quick response and their willingness to send the missing part. I will definitely be supporting DIG whenever possible going forward.

As for the product itself, we put drip line througout our trees, flower beds, and vegetable garden and the product works well and does exactly what it should. The instructions were easy to follow and setup was simple.

Best of all, if you have a question there is a phone number directly on the package of whatever you purchase from them.
I had a question so I dialed the number and it maybe rang once then I was connected to a real HUMAN! No computer asking me to press a number, a real human who could understand me and knew exactly who I needed to be transferred to. Even the person I spoke to when I was transferred was incredibly helpful and knew what he was talking about.

I've had to call a couple of times to figure out how to program an old timer and the new solar powered hose timer. The staff has always been extremely helpful and patiently answered all of my questions to ensure the timer works for my quirky irrigation system.
