We ordered the gate plates. We just bought a multi acre property that has a cattle gate at the entrance and there was enough space my dogs could dig under or get around. We buried the gate plates underneath the gate and went back over it with dirt/gravel and it is packed down nicely. We had to adjust the gate as well, but my dogs have not been able to escape and the gate plates determine them from wanting to even try to dig! We actually ended up sinking them further into the ground than what the pictures show, and the pictures aren't the best, but you get the idea. The plates are now even with the surrounding ground and easy to drive over.
