One of my favorite things I’ve eaten recently at great value. Got the grilled pork banh mi (#1 I think), their most popular item. They have a buy 4 get 5th free deal - I reheated in toaster oven same day and it was as good as when I got it, then gave some away.

Also a great location as there are many other stores nearby (tofu, bakery) where you can go shop while you wait for your sandwich. I went on a Saturday afternoon around 2pm and it was a pretty long wait (25 minutes).

Mi favorito of the Duc Huong locations. Why? There’s more parting available here. The line isn’t as long. The food is still delicious. There are other convenient stores nearby.

I like the grilled pork and grilled chicken bahn mi the most. Made on individual soft baguette bread. A good amount of veggies and a nice spicy flavor from the sliced jalapeños.

I really like their sandwiches recently. And I found that if we put the sandwiches in air fryer, they will reach a whole new level. The bread will be even more crunchy. I have been eating their Bahn Mi in a row.
Grilled pork, grilled chicken, grilled beef are all good!
Some of the sweets I am not a fan of. But some sweets I really like.
Parking is easy in this location even for weekends.
The line is long and better to arrive early.

I have been always enjoying the bhanmi from this place until I found this unknown plastic vinyl material that I didn't recogniz it when I spit it out as it was unchewable. This was hidden inside of bahnmi with other stuffs and made me lose appetite. Always check inside before you actually eat the bahnmi!

The best sandwiches, my favorite is the combo Dac biet and the steamed pork loaf (cha lua), generous portions. They include pate in the steamed pork. The fish is not that special. The have the best vegan / vegetarian banh mi ever. I had the vegetarian banh mi at so many places including Raw and it’s not as good.

I been to their story road location too but this one is the one I go to most.

Their jalapeños are spicy, so if you don’t like spicy ask for no jalapeños.

Best banh mi in the bay area. Bread is delicious and does not hurt the roof of your mouth. My favorite is the grilled beef. If you love garlic, they can make the sandwiches with garlic bread. No seating here, just pick up. They offer buy 4 get 1 free for the sandwiches. You can get extra cilantro, carrots or radish.

My favorite grab & go banh mi from San Jose. Ask for the veggies separated to avoid soggy bread. Lines get long on the weekend or Asian holidays but the price & quality is worth the wait. We usually grab a half dozen or more to reheat throughout the week since it works for all meals and times 😋

During our recent trip to San Jose, we came across numerous reviews praising a local hidden gem in the city. Intrigued by the positive feedback, we wasted no time and headed straight to this mysterious eatery for lunch upon landing at the airport. Eager to try them out, we both ordered sandwiches, unaware of the delightful surprise that awaited us. The moment we took our first bite, we were blown away by the incredible spice kick infused into the sandwiches. It had been ages since we had savored a sandwich that packed such a flavorful punch. The taste was simply amazing, leaving us craving for more.
Impressed by our initial visit, we decided to explore another branch of this establishment located near our hotel. To our delight, the experience was equally exceptional. It became evident that this place would be our go-to spot whenever we found ourselves in San Jose, solely for the purpose of relishing their delectable sandwiches during lunchtime.
