I am writing this on behalf of myself, Becca, Kit and the entire White Belt team. Jen & Leila were beyond generous in letting us into their space for 10 days over the course of 3 weeks to film our movie when we had a location fall through last minute during Thanksgiving week. We felt so taken care of. Both of them are so communicative, empathetic and helpful. Their hard work and pride in their space was felt every morning and each afternoon. Both Jen and Leila were with us each day making sure things ran smooth and were organized, safe and productive. I would work with them over and over again and we were bittersweet at the end of the shoot as we didn’t want it to be our last day at their space. Speaking of space, it was clean, accessible, had easy parking, high ceilings, and was a very easy space to house our crew, make multiple sets out of and feel safe in. Can’t wait to bring another production here in the future and highly recommend them to anyone looking for their next project!

Wow- what an absolutely fantastic space. I've shot a fair amount of content across LA- but Electric Pony is one of the best, most accommodating, professional, affordable and well-run spaces here. Not only do they have several killer spaces conveniently on the same lot, they also have tons of equipment to rent, including complete lighting kits and fun props & set dressing. The cherry on top has to be the two location managers, Jen and Laila- top quality leadership, and extremely understanding of indie creators. I can't say enough good things- RUN don't walk to Electric Pony Studios to book your next film- trust me, you won't be disappointed.

1000% THE place to shoot. Having everything in-house made the production run super smoothly. Venue management is concise, professional, and a joy to work with. Often times location can break a production - not in our case. Location MADE the production. If this warehouse vibe is what your film needs, Electric Pony is a no-brainer.

There will always be a special place in my heart for EPS. Super big thank you to Jen and Leila for being helpful and accommodating. Always answering any questions I had and making the experience as smooth as possible. The spaces are amazing as well and having gear onsite in case of anything broken or missing is very helpful. I can’t wait to come back to this space again for a future project. Thank you again!

I had never been to this studio before and it was amazing. The fact that they have so much available, including grip and lighting equipment, saves on loading heavy gear in and out. And the props and stage pieces, many of which we used, were awesome. The staff were also very helpful when we needed anything.

I've shot at this space many times. Jen and Laila, the location owners, are always great to work with and very helpful. The in-house lighting equipment is high quality and a good deal. It's all on carts and loaded in so you save valuable time you can spend actually shooting. They had everything we needed.

The location owners/managers are friendly and accommodating, making it great for photo shoots but less ideal for film productions. This is not a soundproof facility, and some compromises are necessary for production. Metal roll-up gates on two large doors create noise in windy conditions, requiring cardboard to muffle it. Neighboring businesses occasionally contribute noise from delivery trucks or events. Bathrooms are located within the studio space you might want to film in. One bathroom has a noisy fan when the light is switched on, so we were limited to one bathroom for our whole cast & crew during filming. There are no dedicated private dressing rooms or hair/makeup areas, so budget for bringing in vanity stations and pipe-and-drape setups for privacy. Air conditioning is minimal, with only a few large swamp coolers that need to be turned off during filming. The space you need for parking will likely need to be used for tables/chairs for overflow, extras holding, and meals. The owners are great and have seen it all, so they will likely give you some tips for how to make this space work for your production.
