This is hands down the best rental studio in Madison, WI.

First, I have to say that the space is gorgeous, clean, well lit, and stacked with amenities. Everything you'd need- they have it.

Most importantly, superb customer service! The owner, Chris, was on sight the whole time and she was so kind and helpful. We had a video shoot here and a drummer started playing next door. It could have derailed everything. Chris, went over for us and asked him to stop- she brought him ice cream to 'sweeten' the deal.

Overall, it was such a pleasurable experience shooting here. Look no further for a photo/video rental studio in Madison, WI.

GHP Studio is a jewel in the crown of Madison's production landscape. The physical attributes are many. The space is expansive, versatile, clean and organized, has options for beautiful natural light and striking depth of field - but as impressive as the facility is, what makes it special is the soul with which it's operated.

Chris and Mark, both super talented photographers, know what makes for a successful, low stress and enjoyable shoot. The aesthetics of the studio are lovely and feature several "office" or lounge areas with great furniture, lighting, charging stations and even flourishing house plants. Two kitchens, two restrooms, free street parking, in addition to two loading docks are just a few of the studio's attributes I'd include in the "you just don't get that everywhere" category.

Set builds, prop and styling resources, as well as equipment rental are all top notch. For on-fig shoots, there's a well-equipped hair/makeup/wardrobe area as well as tons of room for wardrobe racks and prop stations.

Chris and Mark are responsive and knowledgable during the bidding/estimating and invoicing processes. They've taken Covid-19 health and safety guidelines extremely seriously and have empowered us to continue to produce high quality, safe shoots throughout the pandemic. I'm lucky to have them as a partner and their studio as a little (not so little!) production oasis.

Terrific Photo Studio with lots of flexibility and all the amenities! I've worked on 4 shoots here and loved this studio. Comparable to big city studios - easy load in with garage doors, high ceilings, lots of space, ability to build sets, the H/MU bays have terrific lighting, changing rooms for models, plenty of client desk space, space for conference calls, fully stocked kitchen if you wish. Terrific COVID protocols so that your team stays safe. Love, love, love working here!

My company has conducted many shoots at GHP Studio – from on-figure jewelry, to fashion, to product photography, to "in-home" environmental shots. As other reviewers have mentioned, the physical space itself has just about anything you'd want including a huge wall of natural-light windows, a full kitchen set, modern equipment, and an abundance of pre-made walls, windows, props, etc. This alone would set GHP apart, but what really makes it shine are the people. Chris, Mark, and team are professional, creative, thoughtful, down-to-earth, efficient, and talented. They are an excellent group to collaborate with and are always dedicated to successfully achieving the client's vision.

I am incredibly grateful that a studio like this exists in Madison, WI. They are ridiculously easy to work with and accommodating. If you are looking for a place to impress your clients, this is it. A lot of space, a lot of amenities and the reassurance that your shoot will go smooth.
