Beware! Terrible service. Kyle gave my business partner and I a huge song and dance about how he could help us with our digital marketing efforts, including Facebook and Instagram ads using video and it never worked out. We mentioned that our greatest concern was that previous vendors were targeting our ads based on a radius instead of specific areas. Kyle agreed that doesn’t work and said he’d make sure he wouldn’t do that but when we finally went into the backend of Facebook, we saw the ads were the same copy my previous vendors created, no videos were included until we complained about it and the location was based on a radius so he didn’t do what he initially promised. He gave us a diagnostic where he heavily talked about how we needed to use keywords but never added any implementation nor direction regarding SEO after explaining that this was what we needed so this has nothing to do with what he offered us but he gave us the impression that he would fix this issue and it turned out, he was not doing that at all. In addition, he filmed me for an hour and then said he’d be able to create 20 videos with the content of which I only saw 3 videos made over 8-9 months and one even had errors in it so that video wasn’t even usable. When the Facebook ads were driving towards the wrong targeted demographic, we asked him about YouTube and google ads, thinking maybe fb and IG ads just weren’t working for us bc we weren’t aware of how little he understood our services, our targeted demographic and didn’t yet realize the minimal effort he put into crafting our ads. He told us to start a YouTube channel and instructed that he’d upload one video for us to launch the channel and we only had to invite 25 people in order to supposedly drive the algorithm so that thousands will get to view it. We invited over 300 people to watch the video that day and the only views were those that we invited. Also, important to note- I gave him full access to our YouTube channel account so that he could upload the video on the day of the launch. He couldn’t find the access bc he waited until the last minute to do this, like most things he did when working on our ads, and he tried to tell us that we had to reschedule the launch, ten minutes before it was scheduled to happen. We were so angry that we threatened to end our business relationship right then if he didn’t get his act together at that moment. Every time we asked for proof of the ads working, like a report or we’d like to revisit this ongoing issue, there was always some excuse, quick scheme or half effort to provide a bandaid to our needs. He did some email marketing for us and still managed to mess those up too, sending out long-winded emails with tons of errors about important things like our services so it was very clear he knew nothing about our business, after 8 months working with grow now marketing. When we ended our business relationship, we gave him a specific transition plan where he even stated that owed us more videos along with reports of what he was doing, agreed to this plan and he gave us nothing. He merely sent an email rambling on about how much he’d done for us but at the end of the day, the results weren’t there and he provided no actual proof with reports of any kind. Also, I asked him for the raw content he filmed and he refused to give it up content about our company with my face all over the videos. He kept it just bc he’s petty and that’s the kind of character you’re dealing with in a person like Kyle and Grow Now Marketing. So, keep in mind, should you decide to work with Kyle or grow now marketing, they will lie, and withhold your IP from you. That is how my business partner and I felt about our experience working with Kyle. He’s a fast talking thief and a phony. Buyers beware.

In just a couple of sessions, Kyle McMurry and Grow Now Marketing have provided Mimi Blackstone Signature, my jewelry e-Commerce business, with invaluable insight. First, he helped me to focus on the core desire of my ideal customer, rather than solely on my product. This has resulted in my rethinking my tagline to speak to the customer. Just a couple of words were changed, but the result is a more powerful and direct statement. He also advised me on the importance of reselling to previous customers, the value of and how to use testimonials, how to split test using real people wearing my jewelry and the value of telling the story of my work and the materials--changes I will incorporate on my website and Instagram site soon. Additionally, he provided great tips on email content/resources and how to create relevancy (seasonal, etc.) so that people are excited to buy! BTW: did you know that colors evoke certain emotions/feelings? E.g., black = luxury; green = wealth; pink = youth; purple and blue = calm.
