Since rejoining this church a few months ago, I’ve been poured into lovingly and attentively through Bible based teaching, through impactful worship experiences and a welcoming family.
Each person here is interested in you and wants to help you grow.
Pastor Steve has a great vision and direction for the body, and pastors Jeremy and Curtis have always been faithful to the word and teach with enthusiasm and conviction.
This church stands firm on the direction of the Bible and has openly proclaimed this. Ive read reviews about homophobia and pushing agendas (from people who likely don’t attend) and it couldn’t be further from the case. This church loves deeply, but will also stand up for the beliefs that we are called to in Christ, too many churches sway and bend their convictions to keep people ‘happy’, Jesus loved deeply, but also convicted people and pointed them to life in Him; this church emulates that!
I love this church and have found a home and family here for my son and I!

This is a hateful, homophobic organization. This church is NOT SAFE for queer and trans people.

When Harvest Church says they are "impacting our community with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ" you might think that means something like feeding the hungry or housing those in need. What they actually mean is forcing a conservative Christian way of life on the rest of us, whether we like it or not.

Our experience at Harvest has been excellent. We started attending there in February of this year, and have been very pleased with the virtually everything about the church. The people are warm and welcoming. The staff has been extremely friendly. The worship and the preaching have been a refreshing and refilling experience for us. We're very glad to be a part of Harvest Church in Arroyo Grande.

If you're looking for sound bible teaching and a great community of believers then this is the church for you! As a high school student in the youth group, I was under fantastic teaching and discipleship. 5 years later I am still encouraged by the way that Harvest leads kid's, students, families, and adults to understand biblical truth!

When we moved back to the area a little over a year ago, we really wanted to find a home church that not only would cater to our hunger for the word, but a place that we knew was genuinely alive in Christ as evidenced by the church body in community. We also had a 1 year old so childcare had to be AWESOME for us to stay. We found all of this and more at Harvest Church.

First of all - Childcare: This was the first place our daughter not only did well in childcare (of course this took a little bit of effort and time on my daughters part) but a huge benefit was that we felt we could IMMEDIATELY place immense trust in the amazing caretakers. They worked with us and really went the extra mile to make sure WE felt comfortable and could rest easy throughout service knowing our daughter was well cared for. Now my daughter regularly asks me throughout the week - Sunday School today She loves it! So this stellar experience with childcare alone was enough to keep us coming back for a while.

Pastor/Message - Steve is one of the most humble and genuine people we have had the pleasure of encountering and we are so glad he is our pastor! It is evident from week to week that each message is completely Spirit led. Steve is so relatable and he is not afraid to preach exactly what the Lord teaches in the Scriptures. No topic is off the table, no matter what the world is saying in our culture. He tells it like it is but not only that he's also funny and entertaining! And seriously every time he preaches the Holy Spirit is felt. Even many of our interactions with him and his family outside of the pulpit confirm he is the real deal and his whole family is so genuine in their care and love for their church family.

Community - By and large this community is incredibly friendly, kind, and inviting. The vibe is traditional with a hipster flare - catering to all generations. The coffee is probably the best in all of the 5 cities area (not that this is a reason to come to church but I mean its def a perk!) The church is constantly investing in its neighbors and the town and its presence is definitely not going unnoticed!

I love that all teachings are backed up by the Bible. Every pastor that I have heard quotes directly from the Bible, not opinion based on societies current climate. Wonderful environment.
