Lively place with lots of restaurants and shops. Lots of families enjoying the beach, boardwalk and pier. It was quite difficult to find a parking spot in the parking garage on a Sunday early afternoon.

This pier is a nice stop along the long walk of Manhattan Beach waterfront. Lots of people fishing and selling goods. We saw several seals and dolphins swimming by as we stood on the end. Grateful for the pier and those who maintain it!

Nice pier with unique triangle shape. Family friendly with lots of ships and eateries. Then there’s the back side. Lots of bars and tons of people. It’s a carnival atmosphere. Very busy!

The vibe of Hermosa beach 🏖️ reminds me a little bit of Venice Beach; great crowd, clean, great views and big walkways. Hermosa beach is definitely one of the must-visit beaches if you happen to be in Los Angeles! If you love playing beach ball games, you would love this beach as the whole stretch of this beach has volley 🏐 nets! You could also dine here as there are plenty of seafood 🦞🦐🍤 restaurants to satisfy your cravings. What’s more, you could go fishing here and they even provide chopping boards for you to cut your freshly caught fish 🔪🐟! For what it's worth, this beach seems to be safe and free of homeless roaming around the beach!

Overall, I would recommend coming here if you prefer a lively vibe than camping on a beach!

So many degenerate memories here at the Hermosa Pier. My early 20s were all about hitting Tower 12 and American Junkie and activating in the trenches. Live from the gutter.

Most recently, I came here on a run Thanksgiving morning to work off the food coma that awaited. I did my 5 mile route on the strand, with the Hermosa Pier being my halfway point.

I ran the craziest 9 minute mile pace with the new Kendrick album blasting in my noise canceling airpods. This is the first album I actually listen to straight through in forever, albeit a few skips here and there. I miss when albums were complete bodies of work rather than just gunning for 1 hit song in today's tik tok era... but I guess I'm just an old head now.

When I got to the pier, there was a beautiful pod of dolphins slowly making their way through the water right next to the pier. Dolphins are so rad. Humans of the sea.

I stood there on a pier for a sec just appreciating life. I heard a quote recently "I am where my feet are," and that really helps ease my anxiety. The 68 degree and sunny weather in late November also helps.

I love the South Bay. I love Socal. Thank you God.

It's been a while since I actually had time to visit the beach. Hermosa Beach is one of my favorite beaches ⛱️ in LA County. I don't remember the pier being this narrow.

To my surprise, there were only a few benches to sit down on and already occupied. I took as many pictures as I could of the sunset this past Tuesday, August 6th, 2024.

It was a great view, but the pier was somewhat crowded with some people fishing a long with everyone else walking around.

With that being said, I didn't go as far out on the pier as I would have liked to. I decided to go take a walk along the water and took a few pictures of the pier from a distance.

Also, there were a lot of people staring at me as if I didn't belong there. 😐 Other than that, I enjoyed myself. 😁

Hermosa Beach is between Redondo Neach, and Manhattan Beach.

What I love do is driving all the away to Redondo Beach, then walk to Hermosa, then Manhattan, then playa del Rey. You can not directly walk from Playa del Rey to Venice beach. Because there will be a long walk around 2hours because of marina del Rey. Although I really tried walking 2 hours to Venice through Marina Del Rey, It was an awful trial, and I did not regret.

There was a swing right on the beach, lots of bird in the early morning. I liked it here, but not that much.
