I just left the HyVee store on Quincy in Ottumwa, Iowa! I was very much impressed with the front end service manager Madison! She was friendly and very helpful! Then I saw her again in the restroom filling up paper and training someone in the process! Wonderful employee!

Outstanding! The breakfast at the ottumwa iowa store is truly magnificent! I haven't eaten this well since my ol' memaw June bug used to cook up Sunday morning breakfast some 45 odd years ago

Great friendly place to shop, produce is usually fresh and well stocked. Every now and then some of their produce is not mature enough and other times produce well over their maturity date... Maybe a bit spoiled. Cooked food on the other hand has never been a hit with me, it's usually dry and not good... Same goes for their Chinese food. All that aside... The grocery part of it is more often than not on spot. One last note, the salad bar is usually pretty darn good... Though to be fair is just cut up fruits and veggies along side nacho cheese and cooked taco beef.

90% of the time they have one checker working and five people backed up. They claim to be cutting prices but are more expensive than any other place in town

UHighest cart to car collision rate in town. 2 major dents in a month. No help from the store in checking cammeras. Will only cooperate maybe if police are involved I was told. Sounds like this is frequent. (Update stopped by for a quick item and Hy bee still has carts blowing around parking lot. Watch you vehicles shoppers!)
