Constantly adding unwanted charges for useless and unwanted garbage. I just want to file my damn taxes. Maybe spend all that money to make a product that's actually useful and helpful instead of lobbying congress to force this kind of garbage on us? Somehow while I was stuck in a loop of having charges added I don't want and having to go back and remove them, my State tax payment was submitted TWICE. This is financially crippling to us and I can't get the money back for at least 3 months. Zero support, zero help, agents are useless when you finally get past the completely useless chatbot. This is the second time TurboTax has screwed us. Shame on me I guess. Avoid this there are better options. Paid for support but you will not get any so why pay?

Intuit is an absolute joke of a company that does not care about its customers or employees. They would rather send all of its jobs overseas than help Americans.

Harassing emails and no way to unsubscribe because it says I have no account with them which is true I don't so why do I need to make one to stop this. Have fun with the FTC report.

Enough with the Emails Already!

I am absolutely exasperated with the relentless flood of emails from Quickbooks. Every time I log in to do my work, it's another invitation to participate in a survey, another request for feedback, another pointless interruption. I did not sign up to be bombarded with what feels like endless spam. It's incredibly presumptuous and disrespectful to assume your customers have the time or interest to respond to these constant communications. Quickbooks executives really need to grasp that this is not engaging—it's enraging. We use your service to streamline financial tasks, not to provide perpetual feedback. Please, for the love of efficiency, stop spamming your customers and let us focus on our work!

QBO is USELESS! Cannot run Certified Payroll Reports like in Desktop. Migration brought over all my Customers and Subaccounts as Active. Cannot inactivate without removing BILLABLE from all the charges. These are charges that have already been charged, paid for and inactivated. And somehow this is my problem. Cannot partially charge a Purchase Order. When you do, it marks the entire PO as received and closes it. Again, they can't figure that out either. And, again, this is my problem. For over 10 years I have been giving feedback on the issues that QBD had, and not a single time has anybody ever called with a fix. Or fixed it in their next iteration of upgrading the version you are on. Same issues still occur today in QBD. Now they are compounded in QBO because it has no power. Good on you, Intuit!

Turbotax did my fathers taxes in 2023. The IRS owed him thousands of dollars. His refund was flagged by the IRS for some reason. He called both the IRS and TurboTax numerous times over the course of the past year but just got the run around and no one would help him. Turbotax was absolutely useless and was no help at all. After telling me about all this I got online to find a lawyer to help him collect his refund. That's when I came across something called the TAS (taxpayer advocate service). It's a division within the IRS that is specifically there to help people with TAX/IRS problems, for free. My father called the TAS and explained his situation. The woman he spoke to was very helpful, she put him on hold a few times while figuring out the situation, and the phone call took about 40 minutes, but the woman took care of the problem and he had his refund within 60 days, after waiting a year. The most annoying thing about it was that Turbotax was no help and all and didn't even mention to him that he should try the TAS. It seemed amazingly incompetent that I had to be the one to find out about the tax advocate service and recommend it. The other incompetent thing was that turbotax also send my dad an email saying his case had been resolved when in fact it had not been resolved at all. And when it finally WAS resolved it wasn't by them.
