Today July 10 2023 I had purchased 2 rolls of aluminum foil, the price on the shelf said $5.29 per roll they rang up at $9.89 per roll I did not know this until after I had paid for all of my items. When I looked at the receipt it seemed a little excessive then I noticed that I was overcharged on both rolls of aluminum foil I brought it to the attention of the cashier and the manager at the time in the store. They both checked the price on the shelf and what the register had rang up. I was correct that I was over charged. According to the manager in charge the policy of bent and dent in Mauston is either I keep the overcharged items or get an in-store credit that had to be used today the date of the mistake. I did not want to spend $18 on any other items that day I was willing to take the credit and shop another day but she said no it had to be used today. This doesn't seem like a policy that works well with people. So when shopping at the Marston Bent and dent the price on the shelf may not be what you are being charged check your receipt before you pay because you won't get your money back I am a little upset I usually don't do bad reviews but this just doesn't make sense and it's very bad public policy, thank you.

We went and bought a lot of things.
Almost all of them were not expired.
Great selection.
Clean store.
Lots of freezers with stuff in them.
I found Octopus.
Calamari.
Def going back.

Because the manager was very rude to me for no reason, when I was just asking a simple question is why I gave them 2 stars. I called at 10:40 on Wednesday (today) and was wanting to know if there was any stock because we just spent approximately $200 on two trips to very empty shelves since Friday. Check all of the expiration dates! Lots of items past expiration with still a higher price than Aldi or Walmart. HELLO!!! They do have some good deals, but you really have to look.. Now I believe the review from the guy who was way overcharged for the tin foil and given a lot of grief from the manager. I even questioned her about his review when we were in the store and she said he was rude. Well from how she just treated me, a good customer, I think she needs to take a long vacation or look for a new job because her behavior was just unacceptable. She also needs to take a course on how to simply be kind.

My favorite place to shop. I shop there about 2-3 times a month. I’m almost always excited to find several great bargains! I mean great! At least half the prices of Walmart. The only downside is it’s mostly overstock so they have what they have. I advise you to stock up because bargains go fast!

Have alot of selection at a good price, unfortunately you are gambling whether or not the food you get is good quality. I got chips that were a bit stale. I got cinnamon toast crunch that tasted awful and I got Noosa that tasted slightly off too. But the chobani yogurt drinks I got were good. I still think it's a good place to go to save money. They have a freezer and fridge selection which is nice too. I recommend going and checking it out.

A great place to look for inexpensive grocery staples. I snagged a Trader Joes all natural peanut butter for $1. Lots of reasonably priced coffee choices. Something different and new every time I go. I alway drop in when I happen to be in Mauston. Store is clean and organized

I decided to shop here at I was waiting for someone to get done with a surgery at the hospital. Just before I checked out, I realized that everything in my cart was expired. Looked at the products on the shelves, and couldn't find anything that wasn't expired. How is this even legal?

Love this store! It has been a bit of a game changer for my large family and our grocery bill. Always new stuff, and I look forward to finding out what sort of deals I will come across each time I go. Staff is friendly, and store is pretty clean.
