What an amazing, marvelous hidden treasure of a shop. As a lifelong cinéphile (who still remembers the 70's when the Minor was a true Arts Cinema) I can't believe I've only just discovered La Dolce Video. I loved the mixture of genres I knabbed, all 5 were DVDs in great condition. We always find something classic and something new to watch when visiting LDV. The clerks are nice to talk to, they will recommend DVDs to you if you like, and truly this place is a gem in Arcata. I can’t wait to go back in a couple weeks. Thank you everyone.

So I get home after work and there's this awful smell in my house right? So I'm looking all over the house and finally get to this bag of DVDs. It just reeks of patchouli oil, apparently my roommate rented a bunch of movies and the store was so overpowering that the smell leached into the cases, now my house stinks.
