Complaints? None. First of all: this is probably the first YouTube Play Button I’ve ever seen in my life before. Guys, good job on passing 500K! Next, there’s just so much going on here - Candy, Ice Cream, Scale Jukebox (I did not appreciate the music but that’s just me), Toys, Games, and what could be counted as basically an entire Disc Golf store. If you found a Quarter on the ground, there are a thousand ways you could spend it here. Dispensers everywhere haha. Candy was amazing, got the Black Currant and Watermelon. I would totally go here again!

Just received the order the candy is really good. I’ve never ordered from this company before so I wanted to give them a shot. I’ve ordered candy off-line from several companies and it wasn’t as good as the candy from this company. Definitely recommend it and definitely would order from here again full meal Candy is really good

One last time before we left Tallahassee for good - stuffed French toast is the best thing on the menu. It's served with sausage from a local provider. A great place to take the kids, they can watch candy being made!

This place is an absolute hidden gem. We were recommended by our barber for our boys to go and I'm so glad we did. Everyone was extremely friendly and smiling. You can tell the people working there are happy which speaks volumes about the owner. The atmosphere was light and inviting. The food was above average. The ice cream selections were extensively chosen and well laid out. I've lived in Tallahassee for 2 years and regret I didn't discover this establishment sooner. Highly recommend for breakfast and ice cream.

This was giving mom and pop vibes. Everything was fresh and homemade. My daughter had a root beer float the root bear was on top made to perfection. I had the classic traditional banana split the whip cream was even homemade. My son had a 2 scoop cherry oblivion waffle cone. Never had that ice cream so delicious. The staff was on point. Definitely recommend and will be back again.

We had ice cream Saturday night and breakfast Sunday morning, both were out of this world. On Sunday morning, my wife had bananas foster waffles which was delicious and I had simple eggs, rye toast, hash browns and the best hominy grits I’ve ever had.

A classic soda fountain and ice cream shop located in NE Tallahassee that also serves breakfast/brunch and makes old-fashioned candy, Lofty Pursuits is a true gem 💎 in our city.

Upon stepping through the doors, your eyes take in shelves of games and toys, a long counter with old-fashioned ice cream scoops running along the wall above and a few quaint tables and you feel instantly transported to a sweet spot back in time.

Everything at Lofty is made with real, high quality and local ingredients, with prices to rival even cheap breakfast stalwarts such as Waffle House and IHOP, the most expensive thing on the menu at LP being a NY strip steak and egg breakfast priced at just $16.

At Lofty P, the toast, pancakes and waffles come with REAL butter, jam and maple syrup. The orange juice is fresh squeezed and pulpy, the grits and sausage local, the bacon thick, the biscuits homemade and fluffy. The candy is made with vintage Victorian equipment.

If you're in the mood for something sweet they have an abundance of flavors of homemade ice cream, sundaes, floats and sodas. You can get a classic banana split, a Brooklyn egg cream, a milkshake or a malt. They have both vegan and vegetarian sweets and eats as well.

The counter service is quick, knowledgeable and friendly and the owner truly seems to have passion and joy for creating and running this wonderful small business.

I could not recommend enough stopping by this nostalgic and sweet time capsule, nor could I ever say too many good things about it.

I discovered Lofty Pursuits on YouTube, so I've never actually been to the store in Tallahassee. But I've ordered candy to be shipped to me three times now, and I'm just so impressed every time. The candy is always unique and delicious (the cherry limeade sours are my favorite), the shipping is quick, and the emails to update you on your order are really fun. I love their dedication to keeping old-fashioned candy making alive.
