Helpful people. It's a small airport. The service we use is contour airlines from pksbrg to NC. It's nice to walk in, get checked in, have a short security line, wait in a comfy uncrowded waiting room, then board ... All without a shoving crowd and a staff that easy to talk to if needed. As a bonus, the rates for that flight are less expensive than a larger airports airline rates.

Free parking is DEFINITELY a plus! Nice little homestyle restaurant inside serving up some simple but authentic and delicious bites for a good price. TINY airport and I feel as if the guy at the counter (that you have to ring a bell for) is the same guy that'll check your bags at the gate, scan your tickets, and do whatever else is needed, like a one-man show. All 4 staff members were very sweet and got us where we needed to go, eventually. Some delays and miscommunication, but they were genuinely nice and made it happen.

I haven’t flown in or out since they upgraded the planes. It’s a small town airport so that being said it is what it is. I actually enjoyed how quiet it was. It could use a touching up inside but by no means a deal breaker. That little flight got me where I needed to go, when I needed to go. It was actually fun. The pilots were always nice and if you got a chance to talk with them they would explain the flight to you. Speed, distance, location, making up lost time. Very professional. Trusted them 100%. I will say getting through security was the toughest of any airport of gone through, they are very thorough. I had 3 golf balls that flagged for explosives. Better safe than sorry. One e you fly to Chicago, Cleveland or Columbus then it gets confusing. The flights are affordable and if you’re gonna drive 5 hours it’s well worth it. These pilots could land anywhere. Loved the sound of the propellers. I’ll have to try out the upgraded version. But it’s definitely a fun trip. Don’t believe the bad stories. I never had a problem. Enjoy your flight, you’ll be landing in 45 minutes

Last week we flew our plane into the general aviation side of the airport, which has the best and most accommodating staff. But, in exploring this airport we found the airline terminal well appointed. The facilities are clean, the restaurant is open and inviting. Hertz rental cars are available. I would not hesitate to enjoy flying to & from this airport.

The airport review is excellent. Conair flight attendant did not announce take-off or landing information, such upright your seat, return your table to storage, or make sure your seat belt is on and tight. Also, he did not walk the plane to check to see the seat belts were fasten on all passengers! Poor job!! The ONLY thing he did was walk offering a basket of snacks and cups of water.

Don't be surprised if you pull up to find the airport empty. I arrived a few minutes after my friend's flight arrived. The planes are small and flights few and far between so it only took about 15-20 minutes to clear out and leave my poor friend waiting alone.
She had received a scholarship to Ohio, Univ in nearby Athens, OH. This was her first trip to the U.S. from a developing nation. I don't know why they booked her here instead of Columbus which has numerous ground transportation options to Athens. Had I not picked her up. I'm not sure how she would have gotten to Athens.
