So happy to see a place like this is still around. I’ve recently gotten a new film camera and was looking for places to develop my film. I used to go to a place in Berkeley, but was presently surprised to see Mikes and it was closer. The staff is super helpful and they have all your film needs. Sometimes they are out of stock of some films so you can always call ahead. I even joined the film developing club they have. Great place!

We took our 3 month baby for passport photos and the service was great. The photographer has a white background for the baby to lay on making it easier to photograph. When I called other places, they recommended bringing the baby in a car seat and putting a white sheet to get the photo. This was much better since it’s a flat surface so we can get a photo that meets the passport requirements. Even better, 2 physical copies is $15.99 so it’s a little cheaper than other places. Highly recommend for baby passport photos.

I feel so fortunate to live close enough to a good old fashioned camera shop! Not that they don’t have the wonderful technological advances of today, but it always feels nostalgic when I go in there. They have a great team, a good manager and produce excellent results when you’re wanting something custom done.

I put off going to Mike’s camera for months because I was so confused as to what I wanted. Should I get a new lens or a new camera? I went ahead and went in with all my questions and I’m so glad I did! The staff is so knowledgeable and helpful and Shannon, in particular, was extremely helpful. She guided me to exactly what I needed as it turns out. She asked many questions about what I wanted to shoot, what equipment I already had and what I wanted for improving my work. The owner was very helpful as well. I’m very grateful and pleased with my purchase and will drop in when I need equipment or advice. Love this place!

We needed to replace an old Nikon D80 with a more modern model so that we could continue using all of our lenses. James spent a lot of time with us and helped us select a refurbished D7100, as well as other accessories. We really appreciated James' time and expertise.

This is my second time visiting this shop. The first time, the staff signed me up for their membership without informing me that I needed to pay for it. They asked if I had a student ID, and I thought they were offering a student discount, so I showed it to them. However, it turned out to be for a membership, and I realized later that I had been charged extra for it.

Today, I went there to get a passport photo because proper lighting is essential for passport pictures, which is why I chose their service. However, the photo turned out really dark. When I asked if I could get the digital copy, they said it would cost $4.99. I agreed, but then I found out they had already deleted my photo.

After returning home, I called them to explain that I was very dissatisfied with the photo and asked if I could have it retaken. They said yes but told me I would need to pay another $17.

I was referred here by Best Buy. The Sony camera I wanted was not only sold out at all Best Buy’s, but completely sold out on Sonys website too.

I checked the website and my camera was in stock. I called on a Sunday just to make sure they had. Dublin didn’t but their other store did. She mentioned if I bought online and pick up in Dublin, they will get the camera.

Well..Monday comes around and I already got a call that they have the camera. I wasn’t expecting it THAT face but appreciate the speediness.
