5 stars for the awesome staff. 1 star for the library from hours of operation to pitiful inventory of books. This is not a modern day library. It’s not even a decent reguonal library. I’m not sure what it is at this point. Maybe a combo Blockbuster Video and Used Book Store? SO much open space but very few book stacks. At one visit, there was only 1 working online library catalogue. This is not what taxpayers or library staff deserve. I hope the new library is one for us all to enjoy more fully and be proud of.

Our family loves our library. All of the workers including the security guards are friendly and helpful. It's such a quiet peaceful place and it has a number of activities for kids including a puppet show, train set, and a variety of puzzles. There are plenty of comfortable places to sit, and my family enjoys picking up craft kits on our way out. There are also scheduled activities with special guests or crafts, and we love the summer reading program. We also really enjoy being able to reserve books for pickup, and even transfer books from other libraries. What's not to love?

The library is large, great staff, great selections.

Operationally this gets a 1 star for the following- Deer Valley USD needs to figure out an alternative to this library access because having it closed during the day as a public library is ridiculous. Assuming that they receive the public funds for having the location on campus, this needs to be addressed for the community as the busiest time of day for all other public libraries, this one is inaccessible. The closest library is 10 miles away.

Alternatively, Maricopa County should look at an alternate location. Also we miss having the summer volunteer program! It was such a great way to get my teen involved in the community and it stopped running 4 years ago and never came back.

I often visit this location with my little ones and I love the small town feel this library gives me. The staff is super helpful and will even request a book to be added if they are unable to locate it. I am able to rotate my home library with their checkout limits being 50 items per library card, giving my children free range to grab whatever the desire.

The children’s book area is huge and they keep a good rotation of best sellers. There also activities and study rooms that can be checked out at the patrons convenience. I was even able to add my library card to my Overdrive and Libby apps. Placing books on hold and transfer is quick and painless with an area that allows patrons to help themselves to their books holds.

Hands down One of the best libraries in Arizona if not the BEST. Some of the nicest most helpful librarians work here. Very big library with a huge selection of books to CDs to DVDs. This Anthem Library which I really love and respect is one of the cleanest libraries I've ever been to. Security guard on patrol here always. Computer stations to work at and of course printers and study rooms. This Library just about has it all. My favorite thing I'm going to say about this library that I love before I end this review is that they seem to get the newest movies (DVDs) in before almost any other library here in Arizona does, which I love because I love movies.

Great service. The librarians were great and super helpful. But with the school taking it over, the inventory is dramatically reduced ? and the hours are terrible. In my opinion, we need a separate space for this branch to be considered a "public library".

Amazing Library!

This is one of my favorite libraries. The staff is always helpful, and they're always polite while being helpful! The only reason I knock off a star is because of the teenagers in there constantly SCREAMING and playing inappropriate content on the computers that everyone can see. The worst part is is that the staff don't do anything about it. I get there's a high school next door, but that doesn't make it a playground! I just ask staff please give these kids some sort of warning! But there's a good book selection and the study rooms are beautiful!
