Ok for real, this company is top notch. I’ve ordered from various meat delivery services over the years and I’ve been pleased with most of them, but Northstar stands out as one of, if not THE best. Regenerative, no toxins, good for the planet, as-nature intended? Check. Fast shipping, still frozen? Check. Absolutely melt in your mouth amazing tasting products? Check, check, check. We got a big bundle with a variety of ground bison blends, a half chicken, lamb, and rabbit…. The rabbit gave us super powers - I don’t think I’ve ever felt that good after a meal in my life. All of the bison was incredible (ground steak is now my new favorite, right next to the old world blend), lamb was great, chicken cooked up beautifully, and again, the rabbit was rock your world good, especially when cooked up in a bunch of grass fed butter with some good rosemary and sea salt. Northstar will be a permanent staple in our household from now on. Can’t wait to reorder and try more!!

We ordered 2 rabbits for Christmas. Product arrived very quickly. Everything was packed well and frozen as expected. We cooked it with sour cream sauce and it turned out amazing: juicy and tender! Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

I run a small business making skin care products from bison tallow. I was very impressed with the quality of the suet and even more impressed by the percentage of tallow that I was able to yield from the suet. I will definitely order again!

So grateful for access to exceptional meats! I wasn't having any success trying to find corn free chicken locally. Since I was placing an order I figured to try the beef filets as well and so glad I did! Everything is perfect! From the ordering, the packaging, the delivery, the portions, the quality! I'm hooked!

Great quality meat. Love the taste and tenderness of the Bison Sirloin Medallions. Portion size is perfect. Easy to order, shipping was quick, my order arrived frozen solid, and the shipping container was easily discarded…not bulky styrofoam!

Bad experience with the latest order. Each package of meat (30 lbs) had tears. I never had a bad experience with Northstar Bison and have been a loyal customer for quite some time. Please revise your refund policy. I contacted customer service within 24 hours with images and was told it was the shippers fault when this has never happened or been an issue before.I believe it's the way the items were packaged. With previous orders, if I ordered at least 12 of the same type of meat it'll be packaged together in its own box within the larger box -this was not the case this time. The meat was packaged loosely, which most likely attributed to the damages. Long story short no refund given - In my case this is how a loyal customer was treated.

We've received 2 large orders in literally a month. We ordered every sausage & Keilbasa they sell, steaks, patties (elk, bison, beef), roasts & stew meats (lamb, bison), chicken gizards, ham & the cheese. We ordered from 5 different companies stocking up for Covid19. Out of all the companies Northstar to us was packed the best, and the product was the tastiest & by far had the most options. I'm a great chef & I've made so many delicious dishes with the meat. My husband literally shed a tear when I made my famous Choucroute Garnie with the Lamb Bratwurst, Pork Bratwurst & Bison Ring Bologna. We will continue to order forever from this company. The meat is prepared with limited ingredients and so much healthier than what you get in a grocery store. Northstar Bison for farm products and Wild Alaskan Company for fish is the way to go if you're a foodie & care about quality, what goes into the meat & processing. Total Double Thumbs Up! Photos = French Choucroute, chili Colorado & finally Bangers n Mash with Stout brown gravy & beer braised onions featuring Bison Bratwurst - Fire Habanero Cheddar!

Wow...chicken sources are drying up super fast because of the av*in flu and lucky to find these people AND soy and corn free. Best chicken ever. Will order more soon.
