Was a homeless woman in the park seems to be high was harassing my in laws and I had to ask her to move on with all her stuff.
She later went into the playground were my son was playing and was trying to dig a hole under the slide so I called the Atwater police non emergency line and told the dispatcher of what's the woman was doing and description of the woman and the dispatcher said she was sending an officer. Bout 20 to 25 min later a pd vehicle came by made a drive through and did not stop and speak with the woman who was changing on the bleachers and had a ankle monitor on they just drove off without ever speaking to us.

Atwater police you all better do your job when you get a call. I was very disappointed and feel that the Atwater police department does not care for the citizens of their community.

Now the restrooms were very nice love the upgrade cause the old restrooms from last year were not clean or stocked and no privacy.

The bathrooms might be bad and we're destroyed and replaced with portable bathrooms. They are replacing them and building new and better bathrooms. A nice playground for kids to have fun and a lot of benches for parents to sit and watch. The baseball is so good. I love watching and snack shack to eat during games, GO ATWATER LITTLE LEAGE! They have a BBQ pit. They have a huge area of seating to eat and fave a party.

Most every time I'm at this park there are people sitting around an large groups smoking weed not 15 feet from the children's play area been a few times it was definitely not weed that was being smoked there. Children's play area is not the place for all that..aside from that it's a decent park but not somewhere I'm happy to bring kids to play

Always such a fun time coming here with the kids as the is so much to enjoy. They gave the baseball fields (more then 1) tennis courts, skate park, playground and plenty of walking area. I do wish they would put the swings back in as that was one if the favorite things to do watching the kids as I swing. Sometimes the bathrooms aren't always open which is not fun last minute, but all in all it's a great park, I've never really encountered anything unpleasant or any kinda unsafe happening during a visit. I recommend you try it out if you have not already.

Even though the skatepark is in needof some very necessary repairs, it's still the best place to skate. Also the 1st tree in that line of trees between the skate park and Bellview Rd needs to he cut back or just completely removed as it is currently hanging quite a few large branches over into the skatepark and the drops these lil berries that make it very unsafe to utilize that portion of the facility as it makes the ground completely unable to be ridden on.

It's good to take the family to play and skateboard. The parking lot could be repaved though. It's a little rough. I fell once or twice while I was skateboarding through the parking lot and scrapped the palm of my hands pretty good but other than that it's a good park.

Skate park is one of the nicest in the area. Even thoe the skate park can be filled with foul language, weed smelling kids at times I've never had an issue. my son who recently started to scooter did not have any issues with the older kids. Most were encouraging and would stop him and give advice. My memories as a new kid at a skate park were completely opposite so it was nice to see the change. Tennis courts and baseball field could use a bit of TLC but come on its free access, you can't expect professionaly upkept equipment from a public area.
