This is simply the best library ever! They have a fantastic kids area, with blocks, toys, puzzles, games, and many books. Adults can have tons of fun here too, with almost daily activities, groups, information on local events, etc... oh, and did I mention books, to borrow, to purchase (from their book store), or for free (from their free shelf). The staff is friendly and fantastic!

This is possibly the loudest library I've ever been to in my life. And the table where I tried to use a computer is near a staff hallway and there was a lot of foot traffic from workers and yet another layer of noise. While I might nevertheless enjoy the nostalgia of hearing a dot matrix printer, that might partly explain why there's no Wi-Fi.

Went to a solar eclipse party. Was awesome got free glasses snacks and crafts for the kids. Plus all the librarians were super nice and helpful.

Loved the setting of this library and how it was in the middle of the park so you could step out and get some fresh air.

There were plenty of computers, the wifi worked great on my personal laptop. I couldn’t find a spot to plug in my personal laptop though.

Otherwise great experience!

Well-kept and clean. Stopped to get some work completed while on a roadtrip to the lake nearby. Nice furnishings, free public computer access, Wi-Fi, a safe and well maintained kids computer gaming room, and helpful and friendly staff. Will definitely return when going back through Payson.

The Payson library is the best library I have ever been privileged to be a member of. The staff are friendly and attentive, always willing to help a fumbling patron and willingly help the mentally challenged. God bless them and their loved ones.

The library is located at the front of Rumsey Park. There's plenty of parking, and once you walk past the two sliding doors, you immediately see the checkout counter. Around it and scattered throughout are some work computers. There's also study rooms which I saw some people were using, and they have a small section for children's book too- which is in a separate room.
The library itself is probably about a third of the size of the libraries you would see in larger cities, but it does provide the minimum necessities.
The books are also organized neatly by genre, i.e. fiction and then by author's last name so they are easy to find. Just bear in mind, as the library is small, the selection is smaller.
It's a cozy library to visit however if you are in the area. My favorite part was the rock collection exhibit and the chairs by the large window that you can read on.
