I love bringing my kids to this library. We can spend hours looking at the books. Until today, I have never had a poor experience. My son just got his own library card, so we decided to take our kids to the library. As soon as we walked in someone front the front counter raises her voice to my husband asking if she can help him, he didn't know she was talking to him at first so he was confused. She then proceeded to say " you, with the hat! Can I help you?" He said that he was just here with his kids. The whole time we are looking at books she was staring him down like he did something wrong. He was wearing a plain white grunt style t-shirt, blue jeans and boots. I feel like he was profiled, for no reason at all. I have always taken the kids to the library by myself and this was his first experience coming with us.

Horrible and unfriendly service from front counter staff. Walked in with my kids and she asked me what I was doing there. I obviously came in with my kids. She was extremely rude. Then proceeded to watch me and give dirty looks. At this point I would rather purchase books for my kids then go into this library again.

Golly gosh do I love books. Books books books. "Read more, read well" as Daerskoob is wont to say! By the gods do I love that book reading, universe-destroying psychopath! Anyway. The Pope County library is fantastic! The staff is always incredibly friendly... and nice! Their book store is always packed with wonderful books for purchase, and their check-out selection is vast and easy-to-access! Oh Discordia! Gotta check out that Stephen King section—they even have the full Dark Tower series! Wonderful! All Hail the Crimson King!

It's the greatest I really like this town and a few persons in it every town has its down falls but when you see through it it's nice here thus library has helped me alot and I've self educated my self here made myself more aware and that's kind of knowledge is a form of power even to the poorest of man
