All you need to know--> Poppy Road outsold Tom Hanks.

I had a book signing. Bad timing on my part, but I scheduled my book signing for the same week that Tom Hanks was coming to Tulsa to sell his new novel.
Anyways, because Poppy Road and the Kaw Nation Library did such a good job at promoting, I ended up hitting #1 in the Oklahoma Best-Sellers list for fiction authors. I was shocked!
