PRS (Matt) repaired a vintage tube radio for me, many years ago. Today I showed up there with a 70 years-old, obsolete and broken clock motor that all of the local clock repairmen had tried and given up on. Matt had it tested and running again while I waited!
I'd told him the clock was very important to me and to name his price, which he did.
"Your gratitude" he said as he left for an appointment.
I doubt that Matt, Pam or John spend a lot of time online, but if you read this and see them, please let them know that I'm greatful!

Matt and Pam are such great people. Our refrigerator went out on a Thursday night. Went to see them Friday morning, and 2 hours later we had a new refrigerator delivered to our home. Friendly, hardworking people!

When our washing machine unexpectedly quit several years ago, we had thought about going with a big box store to get our replacement. I was asking around about appliances and my boss recommended that we check out an appliance store in a neighboring town, Precision Repair Service owned by Matt Purdome. My husband and I are so glad that we chose PRS Electronics. When we bought from them, we were just hoping for a washing machine that would work, but with our purchase we also gained a knowledgeable and service oriented repairman. As a city kid, I had no idea that such a repairman still existed.

Since purchasing our replacement washing machine so many years ago, any time we have had an appliance problem my husband could not fix, we have called PRS to schedule an appointment. As the owner made his rounds, he would stop to do the repairs at our house, even if that meant stopping after the regular work day.

We have purchased 2 new dishwashers and just purchased a new washing machine and dryer set. This company does not have a website, but they have something even better. They have a real person who makes house calls and knows everything there is to know about appliances. If you have an idea of what you are looking for, just call them and ask whether they have it in stock. They will not steer you wrong.
