This was my first time doing a focus group and it really couldn't have been easier or more 'user friendly.' When you arrive, you're welcomed by a friendly receptionist who provides instructions and offers refreshments (cookies, crackers, beverages of various kinds) and you sit in a pleasant waiting room until the person running the focus group brings you into a room. Once the process is complete, you're paid on the spot with a check. I'm assuming the type of research varies from session to session, but I would assume the arrival/departure process is very similar each time.

I have done several (5-6?) focus group projects with Revelations Research over the last several years, and have had excellent experiences every time. What could be better than getting paid good money to spend a couple of hours simply giving your opinion on various subjects? I have done taste testing (ice cream samples!), groups related to healthcare options, etc. The moderators have all be respectful, friendly, and professional. I participate when it works for my schedule, and if it doesn't, I know they will call me with another opportunity sometime in the future. I have never been contacted by anyone to "follow up" on the research project (i.e. sales call later), which I appreciate. Revelations Research is a professionally run, respectable company providing a great service and offering great compensation to those who participate.

Done one in person focus group and two zoom interviews with RRS so far and only had good experiences. They are professional and their focus group/interview questions are interesting. Payment is always quick. If I qualify for any of their future sessions, I will gladly participate.
