BOWLING review only. First time here. No wait on a Monday night (and all the other bowling alleys are full of leagues). Feels almost like regular bowling, the lanes are a little shorter (maybe 2/3 or 3/4th length). Facility is clean and comfy seats! Will be back.

Make sure to reserve larger parties 3 days in advance minimum . We didn't know that, so we had to pay reg price. That was fine, our fault.. but then we ended up being there on a horrible day. All the computers were overloaded and we had to get refunds. Overall we still had fun. The employees were friendly and the managers helpful during everything. The manager could have saved the rest of the staff loads of trouble if he would have just turned off the card selling machines from the beginning to let the computers think and reset instead of saying it was the next managers issue and making it worse because not 5 minutes later a ton of people came in and bought cards and then proceeded to have to get in line to get refunded once they find out the servers were having issues. Other than that thos place is so much fun.. we just happend to go on a crazy day. We will be doing back though

Round1 Arcade & Bowling. Wow this place is huge! What used to be the lower part of know the defunct Sears. Now houses Round1 Arcade & Bowling. The latter word being used very loosely & I will explain later.

If you have a Samsung Phone, turn Smart Things off or device scanning. Their TV's are all Samsung, so your phone continously tries to connect to any one if the TV's in range. Unclear about other Android Phones or iPhones. But whoever Round1 hired as their AV. Was lazy to disable that feature from the beginning.

On the day we were here celebrating our niece's 12th BDay on Aug 10, 2024. The AC appeared to not be working. To make matters even uncomfortable, the lights above the dining seating (first come, first serve basis, unless its reserved for a small party) was tremendously hot as the heat focuses on top of your head. So with the mall being cool on the inside interior. It's even hotter inside Round1. All the games emit heat. No matter the cooling fan inside the game. This also doesn't help the games as well. I know from a work experience perspective. But whew, people were sweating.

From the interior of the mall. You are greeted by the amount of "The Claw" games. (IYK what I am talking about) The prizes are from the plushed Hello Kitty line to the small plastic like egg prizes and the "OMG, I gotta that!" prize. If you have seen a Japanese Arcade on YouTube, shows, media. It's similar like that. Minus the stools to sit on.

It's loud. Really loud. So if you have sensitive hearing, hearing loss, etc. Bring ear plugs. With the music, game music and sounds it can be a bit unnerving.

The food here is something to reconsider to a point. Yes, they sell food and drinks here. By that I mean, if you are hungry and lazy to go the food court, by all means purchase your food and drinks here. Pizza? Yep. Burgers and Chicken? Yep. Takoyaki (think sushi roll), rice bowl, gyoza? Yep, yep and yep. I'll let my pics answer your questions of cost and choices. Price will vary in the future so my pics are just for reference. Quality of the food? Well I only had pizza.

So if you want a comparison. I'd say they are in line with the likes of Johnny Rockets and Chuck E Cheese in the area. So don't be a Foodie Afficinado and take this to another level. It's fast food with a pre-prep, cooking time and cost. This is an Arcade and Bowling site. You & your friends are here to play and sustain your hunger cravings when needed and repeat your gaming endeavors. But, I am sure there reviewers and future reviewers that is going smash their taste amd cost of food. So remember to ask their profession.

But wait. PARENTS, If you came here to set loose your kids and have them run amuck in this Arcade. Or those age 21 & over and have nothing to do but binge on gaming and bowling. They serve alcohol. Whaaat? Yes, Beer on Tap. Wine in a Glass. They have the usual Hard Liquor. Jameson, Bicardi, Tequila, Makers Mark, Tanquery, Hennysey.

Oddly, I don't know, could be me at my age now. But I saw a couple walking around with their drinks to play games. Weird, kind of like being in Las Vegas or Reno. Management might want to look into that or consider some contingent plan to ensure, 1 mis-placed drink and a kid will have its first taste of alcohol before the age of 13.

My personal advice. If you come here to bowl. There are only 8 lanes. So there is a wait. And the wait can be long. You can't call in advance to make reservations. It's literally a First Come, First Basis rule.

So in a nut shell. Here goes.
Birthday packages does not include bowling. There is a "Immersive Package" but that is a "Add-On". Go to their website.
3 Large Party Rooms with Karaoke.
8 Lanes, No call in RSVP. FCFS Basis
4 Pool Tables.
Tons of Mechanical "The Claw" Arcade.
VR and standard Arcade games.
Beer Tap Bar, Hard Liquior & wine. 1 Drink per ID.
Variety Food Stand & ice cream.

Overall, choose your credits in which you can afford. It can cost you alot!!

Enjoy!!

5 stars with suggestions for improvement.

I just attended a birthday party here at round one, and overall it was a great time! The pizza was delicious, most of all the games were working, and the facility was very clean. Overall, my family had a wonderful time and I think the special birthday child also had a lot of fun.

When the party started, we had to wait 45 minutes before the pizza arrived, the kids were super hungry and climbing all over the tables. I’m not sure what the holdup was, but the staff mention they were waiting for pictures to be cleaned in order to bring a soda to the tables. Keep in mind this was a Saturday night at probably one of the most busiest times during the week.

The biggest problem was when the party got back to the party room that the karaoke was not working, the kids were taking turns, screaming into the microphone while the staff was playing with the unit for like 20 minutes. I really hope that they can be more prepared With the technical function of their audio system. The father of the birthday child look like he was handed a phonebook full of different songs with numbers to punch in, I wish they had a few lists of popular songs to choose from to help the party run more smoothly.

But like I said, our family had a wonderful time and I plan on bringing my wife back for a fun date night without the kids.

Beware of the stuffed animal vending machines. The secret? The claw gets stronger as more people try. Although, some machines are rigged despite how many try’s you attempt. I witnessed a vending machine that was tried over 30 times and still did not produce the stuffed animal. Some of the people got the stuffed animal dead center but the claw still wasn’t strong enough to pull it up. Some stuffed animals are too heavy despite having the claw be at full strength.

Ever wonder what employees are doing when they are checking below the machine? They are checking to see how many attempts people made on that claw vending machine. Yea… I asked an employee about it.

Some claw machines are not treated equal here. Beware...

Great and fun experience to bring the family here. Just be aware of the round 1 phone app. The Apple App store reviews were mentioning that when people were reloading credits on their card it wasn’t working. The indoor kiosks are more reliable. Btw your first arcade card costs $2.00 to activate so make sure to hold onto it as it will store all your tickets on it as well.

They have a bar, food place, small bowling alley (8 lanes?)

Voted 4/5 as the app is broken and prizes are expensive. You gotta have at least 2k tickets to get anything worthwhile.

Me and my friends went in to buy credits to play our usual games. We have the Black card which is an annual subscription card that gives you bonus credits on purchases. We come in very often. We paid for our credits on the standard machine and did not get the bonus credits which come with the black card. We went to the manager to ask if we can get credits added onto the card, or get a separate card with the extra credits. However, the manager stated that “the machines don’t give black cards extra points” which is not advertised at all anywhere on any of the machines. Very disappointed and dissatisfied that my card I pay annually for, does not come with the benefits I paid for.

Round one has always been a awesome place/date idea! Iv spend hundreds and hundreds here. But just wanted to let it be known. That I was denied a stuffed animal prize when a manager didn't even bother to come look at the situation. It's clear as day in the pic shown, that this should have been resolved much easier. As you can tell by the photo. The prize is completely OVER the shoot. His legs pushed against the glass, and his head secured, not moving an inch. Any other person would have probably given the machine a shake or 2, but I HAD faith in management. The employees gave me their sorrys, as they thought it was unfair, but it was overall one of the manager's decisions that didn't even come out to see! So I had use the rest of more in order to win the same prize twice. I'm very aware this comment is long and ridiculous, but so was there very situation that happened at your establishment after I spent another 100+ dollars 😁 still very fun and will still come again! Just be better.

I had an awesome time at Round 1! The variety of games and claw machines kept me entertained for hours, and the atmosphere is fun and energetic. I even won a super cute Kirby stuffed animal, which totally made my day! The staff was friendly, and the arcade itself is clean and well-maintained. Whether you’re there to win prizes, bowl, or just hang out with friends, Round 1 is a great spot for some good old-fashioned fun. I’ll definitely be coming back for more! Highly recommend it.
