Tara Widdel has been beyond helpful as a mortgage insurance agent. We moved here after 8 years in Madison, Wisconsin. While I’m happy with my homeowners policy that Sheets Forrest Draper Insurance sold me. I find the Sheets Forrest Draper Insurance staff in general, not very helpful in answering and/or explaining answers to questions, thus I will NEVER purchase another new policy from them! And if I need to deal with my homeowner policy, I call the insurance company directly and by pass the unhelpful staff at SheetsForrest Draper Insurance.

Nicole has been incredible to work with. We recently sold and bought a house. She helped with every step of the way and made the transition very smooth. We also combined coverage on our vehicles THEN sold and bought another one. She was always on the ball! And to top it off, she picked up from our conversation that we are engaged and asked for the wedding date so she could follow up and help us finalize and name changes and policy updates. I’ve been with SFD for many years and have always felt like truly care and I know they’re always looking out for the best of my family.

Personally, I have not dealt with this company, but as someone visiting this beautiful city for the first time, from Alaska, I received this sticky note on our windshield of our rental car from someone in this Sheets Forrest Draper Insurance for parking in the parking area behind their business. We were told that was where the city allowed for the airbnb patrons to park temporarily as there is construction blocking the rentals parking and "not to park on the loose gravel area parking as it is also being worked on."
I do not believe this to be a people-friendly business or very welcoming if they feel the need to leave unfriendly notes on windows.
I would not recommend.

Joel has been very patient with me when answering all of my questions, educating me about the coverage and process. I have a neurological voice disorder and he’s been understanding about that and has used email as I requested. He’s also had to change our beginning date of coverage two times because the closing date has changed. I recommended him to my daughter and she’s getting a quote also.

We have been affiliated with Sheets, Forest and Draper for over 23 years. The best thing I can say that I very seldom think about them. We pay our premiums by autopay and if we need anything we know we can call or e-mail and we get a very quick response. We have no need for more interaction and we are comforted to know they will be there when we need them. We MIGHT be able to get a lower premium elsewhere but we’re not. Interested in changing. I’m comfortable that we are getting a good deal.
