Nice store, would rank higher but they still have plexiglas up; assumably for covid. Anyways they make me uncomfortable, especially when teller has to reach around to grab my item. Which sometimes happens after they help me find something.

I really like this home town hardware store. It’s getting harder and harder to find family owned businesses to shop at. Sloan’s has everything I need to do whatever “I” want around my place. I drive out of my way to shop here. Great people and very friendly service.

Best hardware store around. Find things here that other stores just dont carry. Like, quality clothes pins for goodness sake. But so much more ! Feed, lumber, plumbing, heaters, paint, just a great store. Real nice folks too. Customer service 100%

They take very good care of us whatever we ask about. Each time I had a list, they had it all.
The wide range of items and good customer service is great and reliable!
We prefer going here than large franchise popular places. We also appreciate they carry things to your car! And load it! As a woman, this was very helpful.

Wide variety of tools, equipment and supplies. Just about anything you need. Very friendly and helpful staff. Conveniently located in Etowah.
Update: Shop locally at Sloan's of Etowah. No need to go to the big box stores when Sloan's has what you need at competitive prices. Good quality lumber, electrical and plumbing supplies, lawn and garden supplies, household items and too much more to list. Stop in for all your home projects, if they don't have it, they'll work with you to try and get it.

This store has everything you need or can think of. When I first moved to Etowah and found this store I was blown away at the shear size of the place.They have it all from pool supplies, or lumber, to plumbing parts. There is no need to travel to those large home stores over 20 minutes away, when you can come shop here.

The true gem of Sloans are the hard working employees. Between everyone working here, you will find someone knowledgeable in whatever you need help with. I was so happy to find a store with such friendly and helpful people. Everyone is professional and courteous. This store is always my first stop for whatever I need.
