SMU contacted us when they received a notification that our service was faulty even though we had not noticed. Hank came out and was very pleasant and helpful. Big THANKS to Hank. He was a good guy and cleaned up a wiring mess left by someone else. 5 Stars to SMU and to Hank as well!!

I made the switch from Mediacom to SMU internet. I called on Friday and was able to get Internet that same day. From customer service to the techs, they provided great customer service. Techs were very polite and professional. They noticed my 2 month old twins were sleeping and made a great effort in being quiet for them lol. When talking to the techs, they informed me what to expect with my service and that if I have any problems that they will be there to help.

We had problems with our cable tv reception on a Saturday. And Ryan Kabrick was on call. He came right out with an awesome attitude. And he fixed the problem in no time. And answered all of our questions. Very professional! Awesome service!

Very professional job of internet and TV installation. Took time to find out what we wanted and what we currently had.
Made certain all devices were connected and working before leaving.
Explained all the features and answered all our questions. Explained how to get help in the future if needed.

After moving from the area, I kept receiving bills. Called SMU a month after leaving to pay final bill. Two months after received yet another bill. Called SMU again and they say I still owe them money after I payed in full. This company is not organized for records, nor do I recommend them. Worst customer service.

One of the worst customer service I spoke with in my life. I paid my bill on time every month for the last 2 years. I also paid my bill on time last month electronically. They drag their feet so they can just charge me a late fee. It may be just a couple bucks but wow! An electronic funds transfer is just that. Then they wait 4 days to post it. This way they can charge you more money. Then to top that off they send me a bill one full week after I made the payment and say my bill is still unpaid. I call customer service and she was acting like it was my fault. Again just to try to get more money out of people when it is their mistake.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE WE HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. my mother passed away in December. none of us siblings live near spencer and work fulltime. we were given a week’s notice to upgrade the cable. none of us could get there on a weekday. so we canceled service. we had to return the cable box and remote to receive the $210.00 credit that our mother had originally paid. Since we have trouble getting there within a couple of weeks I was able to return the products. They didn’t want to talk to me because they had been working with another sibling. finally accepted my return and said the credit would be applied to her utility bill. after numerous calls and rude customer service people we still haven’t received the credit after 4 months of returning the products. Don’t understand how this refundable payment can just be kept by them. extremely shady business policies. 🤬🤬
