This thrift shop used to be a great spot to find clothes and shoes at a decent used price. Not anymore, the last few times we have gone I have actually said out loud to other shoppers how ridiculously overpriced certain items are. The sentiment is shared among many shoppers. The idea of a thrift shop is to pass items along that are affordable and not like a consignment shop price point. I recommend the manager reconsiders how they approach a thrift shop, and pricing should follow accordingly.

The mission of St. Mary's Thrift shop is to support the church and school with the revenue from the sales of the donations from our generous community. We strive to fairly price the items. Please, keep in mind, we are not professionals, just volunteers that want to give back. We love our customers and the ability to help the church.

St. Mary’s has been my Church for 52-years. I Love the Thrift Shop and most of the Volunteers are very nice. The Manager however, who is a very well paid employee, is a rather harsh woman when she interacts with customers.

Prices are laughable. Here are three examples:

- A dented, USED Yeti water bottle for $25.

- A moderately cool sweater for $25.

- An ugly, WORN sweater you could have bought from Kohls for $6 15 years ago.

There are so many items in this store you can legitimately buy cheaper for new.

What used to be an awesome thrift shop has become the epitome of greed.

This was my favorite shop for years, now it has become the absolute worst! I loved the boutique area. But when you listen to the staff belittle customers or other staff members, unprofessional. Manager Jackie was literally accosted by another manager, Kathy? Jackie cried, packed her things, and left. This manager said “this is my store”. This manager is always hostile and also aggressive. Living across the street I see this manager frequently filling her car with items….. it would be nice if those items made it to the sales floor. Not an inviting Catholic environment. Please do better, and remember “God sees everything, even when the world turns a blind eye.”

Under new management!! The shop continues to offer new and like-new items at very reasonable prices, with hidden gems galore. They are very selective for the merchandise offered; no dirty, broken, junky things. Wonderful, helpful volunteers. Many shoppers come weekly! There's lots to discover!

They have decided to go with the Goodwill/St Vince model, receive items for free, and sell them for the going online rate. Unfortunately unlike Goodwill, this is supposed to be a charity. Why even have the thrift store, just put everything online and close. I'll pass!
