I was very disappointed to learn that this Starbucks no longer provides hot water refills. This morning, I purchased tea and asked for a hot water refill, but Mark told me I had to buy something else to get one. This is the only Starbucks that has ever charged me for hot water. Immediately after, I went to the Starbucks in Milpitas, where they gladly provided it for free. Mark was neither kind nor professional—his response was harsh, and I will not be returning to this location. Restaurants used to give free water, but I guess we’re living in different times where Large Corporations live beyond the laws of the land.

By law, restaurants in California are required to provide free drinking water to their customers upon request. This applies to all establishments serving food and drink, including chains, independent restaurants, and even food trucks. This right is mandated by California Civil Code Section 114376.

But here you can’t even get tapwater for free, even when you have your own coffee mug.
Update according to the website , as of January 2025 Starbucks, no longer offers free water. I still refuse to change my review because of the way that Mark relayed this information. He was very unprofessional and he should work on his delivery.

Says they open at 5 am. We ordered mobile, doors still aren't open at 6am. People are leaving and giving up on their orders. Employees are inside, no one will tell anyone what's going on. This starbucks always takes a long time to make drinks even when it's not busy. Go to the berryessa one, they are way better and they open on time.

Disappointing.. no restrooms, no place to sit down, be prepared to stand and wait for your order awkwardly. I always get the same exact drink and people are right, this one does have a more burnt coffee taste than most Starbucks locations. The employees are kind and polite, other than that you might want to skip this one.

Bad coffee day at Starbucks. Tasted like burned-diner-coffee. Service was very good as they did a remake for me-but to no avail on the coffee taste. And while I’m reviewing I’d add … the store atmosphere /decor is cold as a paycheck cashing place. Let’s get the center table and chairs back in there and warm the place up a bit.

Looks like they don't want you to sit inside or out here. All chairs and tables were removed. Although they had enough staff but turn around for food was slow. Staff was pleasant.

This Starbucks converted to a pick up only store. This means that there is no seating available at all. It also means that there is no public restrooms. Even if you have a medical condition.

I think there is something definitely not right because by ADA law people with medical conditions like IBS should have access to the bathroom.

I do not recommend coming here due to this experience. This is my personal opinion and experience.

Never seen a Starbucks dirty like this. Not to mention non inviting or hospitable. Staff was cold and inattentive, absolutely no place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee. Not to mention non inviting & no restrooms for paying customers if you happen to spill accident.
