I couldn’t be more impressed with my experiences at The Century House. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and eager to help without being pushy. Darin and Kathy have gone above and beyond to help add the perfect additions to my new home. I purchased a bedroom set, benches, chairs, sofa, coat rack, a sectional, and wall decor. The prices here are definitely higher than your traditional furniture store, but they back it up with the outstanding quality of furniture, the delivery team handles everything with care, ensuring the items arrive in pristine condition.(They even give you accurate arrival times) and lastly the sales staff is unmatched and committed to ensuring you leave with the correct furniture for you home.

As a business owner myself it is clear to me that customers service is a top priority for the team at the Century house, and I have no reason to shop anywhere else in the future. I look forward to working with Darin for years to come. Thank you for everything guys! Highly recommend!

I love The Century House. I’ve lived in Madison for most of my life, but just recently stopped into the store looking for a bookshelf for our house. I suppose I never stopped in because I was intimidated, thinking everything would be out of my price range or too contemporary for my style of house. I’m so glad I checked it out. My wife and I found the exact type of bookshelf we were looking for and ended up going back for a couple of other things for our house. The staff is so knowledgeable and helpful and willing to think creatively about design from our perspective. Instead of trying to make our house look a certain way, they understood our vision for our house and provided so many suggestions for things we never would have thought of. The Century House would be a destination in New York or San Francisco or Copenhagen; it’s incredible that it’s right here in Madison.

Incredible service! We recently purchased a glider/recliner from The Century House and Tobin was extremely helpful and nice. Very attentive and just great service.
The delivery team was also extremely friendly-arrived right on time and set up the chair in the designated room. Would highly recommend and will be back!

Kathy is very knowledgeable of the products and very helpful through the process. The BDI office furniture is great looking and very functional. Herman Miller chair also is the way to go for all day comfort. Furniture delivery service is also second to none. Courteous and professional.

The Century House Gift Store is filled with beautiful and one-of-a-kind gifts. There are so many rooms all filled with the most unique things. This is a must stop shop!

Wonderful experience and even better couch. My partner and I love coming to Century House for small gifts and such, and when it came time to buy a new couch, we knew exactly where to go. We picked out a beautiful blue couch that matched our existing MCM furniture. The staff was incredibly helpful and not at all pushy like so many other furniture stores in town. The throw is also from CH and it goes perfectly with our couch.

I bought a HAG Capisco chair here. I had a ton of back pain, so I set up an appointment to finally splurge on a nice office chair. The sales rep took the time to walk me through their selection showing me all the features and listening to what I liked and didn’t like. Eventually they placed me in the Capisco after some of the feedback I gave, and it was the perfect fit. I’ve had this chair at home for one day now, and I couldn’t be more happy. It improved my posture substantially. Couldn’t recommend the people here more. When I picked up my chair, they even loaded it into my car for me.

It’s expensive furniture, but you absolutely get what you pay for, and the service is great too.

I’ll be back for my next home office purchase. Thanks guys!!!
