I found the Net Loft online when I was searching for a yarn that is no longer being produced. Luckily, The Net Loft popped up in my google search! I was able to order the yarn online and have it shipped to my home with ease. I ordered twice (because I made the mistake of ordering the wrong color yarn the first time!!) and each time, my package came with a thoughtful note and other goodies (tea bags, hand lotions, gentle wool safe soaps, etc). Although I'm across the country, should I ever find myself in Alaska, I'll make sure to stop by for a visit.

I love the Net Loft! The owner is so nice and carries a fantastic selection of supplies for hand knit ganseys. They even carry a special colorway of Frangipani called Cordova designed for the shop, it's a gorgeous shade of blue.

One of the reasons I look forward to coming back, been buying art and cutesy stationary supplies for family back home and they love it, I do too

I have only been in the place once, but I saw enough that I am interested in checking it out more without my little children along. It is crowded inside, but it is packed with pretty goodies. There are many racks of yarn. There are also scrap-booking supplies. The items my little son was most interested in; fancy candy, among them are chocolate covered berries. The lighting in the place is great!
I came in again the week before Christmas. We arrived a few minutes early and someone opened the door for us even tho it was before the posted time. The staff were all helpful and kind. I expect I'll come again. The worst part is that it is so easy to spend a lot of money there quickly without realizing it before checkout because there is so much nice stuff. Thankfully when the workers know the purposes for the items they will make recommendations (cheaper items for children / amateurs) so we don't spend as much while they are first learning their crafts.

I walked in and was overwhelmed! The shop has lots of interesting corners of beautiful gifts but then I saw the hand dyed yarns! The staff is warm, friendly and very knowledgable. The hardest thing is making choices! If only this shop were near me in Massachusetts. It is far better than any yarn shop I have visited in a long time. Going back today for more 🙂
