I use to go here. My family only purchased essentials since it is pricey and the pizza was decent and so was the price. However, we stopped going completely after having a horrible and even to a degree traumatic experience with the lady at the cash register. I will not go into detail but overall she was so rude and racist. We have literally decided to stop going just to avoid an encounter with her. We spoke to the owner about her racist statements but overall he did nothing and basically let it go. I can’t even try to support a local business with that kind of behavior. I would say I’d feel bad for the owner but I can’t if he is willing to continue to have someone like that to represent and ruin the market’s reputation. He literally told me that the way she acted out of line is not the first time but he can’t fire her because he needs employees. Well to keep his employee he has lost customers. Now we get pizza at The Pizza Place and essentials at the New Acton Market who are much nicer, organized, cleaner and overall better they also might be a tad bit more expensive but to avoid such a person is a price worth paying.

So I’m not sure how relevant my review will be, but I’m so glad to know that this establishment is still running strong. As I’ve got so many great memories going to this store as a kid in the early 90’s. As me and my friends while attending school at Acton Elementary used to go directly here after school during 5th & 6th grade to get their battered potato wedges and hot wings before heading over to the Boys & Girls Club House a few blocks away. Glad to know that this establishment is still going strong.

Like this store, there is another acton market, it's pricey. The Original has freshly baked muffins for a buck fifty, huge selection of food & drinks and a nice liquor selection. Friendly staff!

The owner Abe, is always there and is very hospitable. I highly recommend stopping by on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. The freshly BBQ’d chicken and kabobs are delicious.

Ordered a pepperoni pizza , and it was really good and great price too ! Definitely would recommend it . Heading back to try their sandwiches 😋

The bread used for the sub sandwiches is 11/10. Good crust and chew. Chocolate flan cake is very good as well.

Great place for a quick bite they always have hot foods and hot and cold sandwiches. which are delicious. Also hot pizza best pizza around town

The store might be ok. We don't know. The checkout girl was the rudest most unprofessional person. She was on her phone on speaker and she just wouldn't help us. We left.
