$1.99 for a used TOY kitchen pan. That’s crazy expensive. It was a set of toy kitchen dishes for CHILDREN. Obviously all used. Not even in great condition. All priced separately at $1.99 or higher. The lady was very nice and cheerful but the prices are outrageous especially for the quality of most of the items.

High prices to cover up employee theft
$5 for a dirty stuffed animal? 8.99 for used shoes with no tread left?
Overheard an Employee on her cellphone telling someone to "come in, act like you are buying it first and then load it into the truck". Cause that's not suspicious....
Don't bother with this place!

Good place to pick up gently used items for little money. If you are looking for something specific it's a nice place to start. Their employees are always very friendly and helpful.

I think alot of there prices are way to high for donated items because they google how much items go for and stick that price on it. I was under the impression that the salvation army and stores like this were to help out the homeless and low income? Mainly there furniture and some household products WAY TO HIGH PRICED. I think they raise there prices because the Beloit College is right up the hill from them!!!!!!

So dropped off a Truck full and SUV full. I wash my items, throw away anything with holes or stains and usually do garage sales but decided just to donate it all this time. I usually go to goodwill but my mother had called Salvation Army. She even called ahead to let them know what she was bringing and was told to come after 10, so we did. The woman that she spoke to when she got there was very rude, mistakened my mother for a homeless person just because she had an oxygen tank with her. She acted like we were wasting her time! When my daughter asked for a slip for the things I donated she said I had to be there to get one. I work full time! She slapped a paper on the counter and told my daughter she needed to fill it out, so while she’s filling it out she tells her you need to move ....um....use manners much or did you leave them at home today? I will NEVER donate to Salvation Army again, not even a bell ringer! I will donate to goodwill where I have been treated with respect and and the workers wear smiles and tell you to have a nice day!

If you have something in mind, it’s easy to look around and see if they have it. Otherwise could spend a good 30-60 minutes looking through the shelves, finding treasure. A good variety for a thrift shop and good prices. Everything sold as is, all sales final.
