This is the worst apartment complex ever, find somewhere else to live!!! There is a constant roach issue, none of the few amenities that they offer have been available almost the entirety of our lease, the pool is green and disgusting in the middle of summer, no one ever answers the phone and the office is always locked even during office hours. No cameras on the property as well, both me and my boyfriend’s cars have been hit and run while just being parked in the parking lot. The people who live here have parking lot parties all hours of the night. Million of issues upon move in and it just has not improved at all throughout this past year. Also they do not give you notice prior to coming into your apartment! I have absolutely nothing good I could say about this apartment so don't get trapped here like i did!!!

I’ll start this review off with the positive things about this apartment (as there’s few). The general layout of the apartment is nice. Marble countertops, garbage disposal, balcony, all the amenities you need is in the apartment. There’s also good internet options available. Everything else BLOWS! This summer the pool was unavailable most of the time, although I wouldn’t want to swim in that pool, especially with the other tenants, it would have been nice to have the option. It lists they have a gym, it’s always closed in fact I’m not even sure where the damn thing is. It’s almost like they don’t want you to know there is one. I’ve been living here with my family for almost a year and the negatives far outweigh the positives. The first issue we had was the trash, other tenants would just leave trash strewed throughout the hallways. We’d sometimes even find trash that isn’t ours in our outside trash can. There’s also the gate situation. I believe I saw the person who crashed into it that night. He was drunk laying in the parking lot, with his car just left running, you could tell the car was damaged. After about 30 minutes some of his buddies put him in their car and drove his car some where else. That was almost 6 months ago. Do you think they fixed the gate? No. Another issue is the reckless drivers in the parking lot they will be speeding through no problems at all. Our first month be we saw someone’s garage had been backed into REALLY hard. It took them two months to replace it. Today I discovered our garage had succumbed to the same fate so no telling when that will be fixed. The BIGGEST issue is not living on the 3rd floor. If you live on the 2nd or 1st floor and have heel-stomping tenants above you, you will hate your life. It’s so terrible but you can’t really do anything about it except invest in some good headphones or leave these god forsaken apartments. The people above us throw their cigarette butts over the balcony into the parking lot. Some mornings you will find remnants of a parking lot party, empty beer cans, broken glass, etc. Another issue we had was bees. We warned the management that there was a whole colony infesting itself in our balcony ceiling we told them MULTIPLE times but they didn’t listen, eventually it got so bad they had to pay a beekeeper, and someone else to remove 100’s of bees with tons of lbs of honeycomb. The bees worked there way all the way into the master bedroom closet. There is still a hole in the balcony closet they’ll probably fix it when we eventually move. In my bedroom my head of the bed is against the stairs, I can hear people go down the steps all times of the night. If you’re considering this apartment complex just know what you’re in for. I imagine it’s 10x worse at the verandas too because there’s so many more people there. I love that the apartment allows pets but they never replenish the dog poop trash bags and it also takes them forever to stock the poop bags themselves. Also most of the tenants here are Spanish, so if you want to make friends with your neighbors download DuoLingo to learn how to talk with them. Again that’s not bad as everyone of every culture should be able to stay anywhere they want, this is America after all. My closing statement will address the nothing-burger replies the Vistas make on the one star reviews. It’s like hearing a politician speak “yeah we’re working on that…. Working on addressing this issue… your feedback is really important to us… let us know how we can fix this… BLAH BLAH BLAH. Just deduct our rent and we’ll call it even (they’ll never do that) I understand this complex has been through many owners and there will probably be many more as it’s probably literal hell on earth trying to keep up with the trash that is their complex. Hope this helps you sway from this apartment if your choosing a place to live.

Beautiful property and great staff. The office staff and maintenance workers at The Vistas are extremely friendly and constantly helping residents with their needs. I would recommend anyone looking for an apartment to check the Vistas out. You won’t find any other apartment complex in the area with these amenities for the price.

If I could rate lower I would. On move in day I saw a roach, i called the office and they could care less. After a week of complaining about a roach INFESTATION, they finally sent the exterminator. He spent about 10 minutes. I still was seeing roaches. Then yesterday 8/29 the exterminators came back and has to fumigate. I was begging for that to be done from move in date. Now I have to empty all my cabinets and leave the apartment while it’s being done. Top that with an AC, garbage disposal, toilet seat needed replaced, ice maker, microwave not working. They should be paying me to live here!!!! Place is not safe, poorly lit by mail boxes, people hanging out on the curbs smoking pot, just a horrible place to live! I’d move if I could find a new temp residence

Vista Apartments is a great place! Vista have apartments that people can live in the way they best. My grandmother moved in one of the those apartment. She lost her house to a tornado in March 2023. She gonna be alright when she tried to get her house back. Thank you for providing people the best environment as possible.

Zero stars, gangs, and bugs might as well be the projects if the projects cost 1549.00 a month. It's not worth it. Don't do it. It's a scam.

These apartments are really cheap apartments for the price. The dishwasher leaks and is all messed up. Every single thing inside apartment was bought super cheap so nothing works correctly. The verandas is super crowded and super dirty walking to your apartment and I know several people that say it’s infested with roaches. The vistas where I stay at doesn’t seem so crowded like the verandas but also have roaches and lady bugs everywhere. Don’t mind the lady bugs but I don’t do roaches. The washer machines and dryers are from Dollar tree. Super cheap! I would not recommend these apartments to anyone. They are way way way way way over priced for what you are getting. Do t let the outside appearance fool you. Then the Maintanence crew don’t look trust worthy to go in your house to fix anything. You can get a cheaper apartment cleaner and way better in auburn. Way over priced, if you enjoy the company of roaches this is the place for you. Just wanted to add alittle more to this review. My air stopped work and it took them 4 days to come out to fix the air and this is in 95 degree weather. Well they came and the air worked for maybe 5 hours and now it went down completely going on two day now waiting for them to fix it. These apartment owners need to fix this issue I have children here that have to sleep sweaty for days with no AC. Don’t rent here not worth the money

The Vistas apartments is like no other. I honestly couldn't believe there were apartments this nice in Valley, AL. The office & maintenance staff are great. Their names are Jessica and Raymond. I actually ended leasing at their other property but was very impressed with Vistas.
