I recently tried Tokyo Chicken, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! The chicken was absolutely fantastic—extra crunchy and crispy on the outside, yet perfectly juicy and flavorful on the inside. Every bite was a delight!

To complement the chicken, I ordered the baked beans, chicken rice, and potato salad, and all of them were just as delicious. The baked beans had a rich, smoky flavor, the chicken rice was well-seasoned and comforting, and the potato salad was perfectly balanced.

Everything exceeded my expectations, and I will definitely be coming back for more. If you’re looking for a place that serves amazing chicken and tasty sides, Tokyo Chicken is the spot to try!

I also tried the “matcha sweet tea” and “fried chicken skins” delicious!

A staple in the SGV now in DTLA! It was always so hard to get a table in the Original location too (OG location is closed now permanently) but here they have SO MUCH SPACE!!

Service was AMAZING and was greeted with a smile and good vibes right as we walked in. Menu is simple and straight to the point!

I finally tried Tokyo Fried Chicken down the street from me. I used to frequent their Monterey Park location and am so happy to know they’ve relocated near me. We ordered a 2 pc chicken box with collard greens and a 3 pc chicken box with yams. The chicken was fried to perfection. Very crispy, juicy and tender. The collard greens and yams were tasty and delicious. The staff was attentive and nice enough to give us an extra piece of chicken each on the house. The banana pudding is also so so yummy. I will definitely be frequenting this location because the food is delicious and service was excellent. So happy to know they are in DTLA now.

Insanely good chicken. Super crispy skin. Didn’t even need sauce. Had a nice subtle flavor already. I wasn’t a fan of the collard greens or yams. Friendly staff. I’ll be back. 🤘🏽

I was walking by and saw this spot. Saw that they had “fried chicken skins” and I was through the door.

I ordered their fried chicken skins, a leg and thigh with their signature sweet sauce. The fried chicken skins were delicious and the sweet sauce cut the richness enough to make it a solid combination.

I should have ate the skins after the fried chicken because I was a little full to really enjoy their fried chicken. Overall it was good piece of chicken, nice and crispy with a solid flavor profile. I’ll try it again without the skins next time.

I’d definitely come back here again to try their other menu items.

Absolutely delicious!! Definitely recommend. Parking situation ain’t the best. Saw toe broken windows form toe different cars in the parking lot nearby so make sure you take your stuff with you and if you have a camera in your car activate it!!

Amazing food! The TFC spicy dipping sauce was delectably spicy with the delicious tenders that were cooked to perfection! The banana pudding was hands down the best we’ve had! The service was on point and they were very friendly!
