Pathetic. Limp news. They run the same 10min of news over and over. The stories they cover are an absolute joke. Today a man shaves his beard! His kids don’t like it! Come on. Y’all can do better than that. Weather girl does a good job though. She is the reason you got 2 stars and not 1. EDIT. maybe I was a little too hard on waay 31 news. Todays stories about the new hod dog flavored drink at 7 eleven was hard hitting and informative, as well as the story about how high the lottery is. I simply could not start my day without know that. lol. Grace you do a great job with the weather. you are carrying the morning news crew.

I obviously do not know all the details and probably never will, however, my wife and I, are so sorry to hear that Chief Meteorologist, Taylor Kanost, will be leaving WAAY 31. In the short time that we've lived in Huntsville (1 1/2 years, having relocated from near Salt Lake City), we've thoroughly enjoyed watching the weather reports from Taylor, as he's a first class person and an exceptional Chief Meteorologist. I understand that this a business and things happen for various reasons. We're hopeful that Taylor and his family will find a place where they will be happy and where Taylor will be truly appreciated and recognized; tough leaving a job you were happy in, especially if it wasn't by choice. Perhaps when Taylor is situated in his new position, he'll share the real reason for having to leave WAAY 31. We'll continue to watch WAAY 31, however, it'll be w/some sadness and disappointment.

I live close by and I can tell you the employees of this business show no respect for the surrounding neighborhood. This morning I tried to get one of their employees to slow down. He was so busy cursing at me that he did not see the loose dog or the little girl chasing after it. When their FCC license comes up for renewal, I will certainly be filing a complaint. There is no need for this company to be located in a residential neighborhood.
