The staff here is so nice! I got dropped off by my Uber at 8:45am not knowing it opened at 9am. The weather felt like -20 degrees Fahrenheit. The lovely librarians opened the doors early for me and I'm very thankful.

Very Quiet and Small Library by home. The place is very organized, neat and the staff is very nice and helpful. Every time we go there, we feel welcomed. My daughter loves here!

This is a great small library! I feel like everything is very well organized at a level that is a little more on point than even many of the other metro libraries. I particularly like how many of the series have labels on the outside which is just one small detail that shows this location cares about ensuring a quality experience. It's a very clean quiet and comfortable location.

Nice, smaller public library. The staff were incredibly helpful! They gave me a mini tour of the library and even helped me with the self check out when a book wouldn't scan and my hands were full. My preschooler enjoyed the toys available for her to play with. There is an infant play area available for parents and their infants/toddlers with an interactive wall. Their children's graphic novel section is quite impressive!

I do think it may be useful to have more seating available for parents in the kids section of the library instead of just a bench by the infant area.

Overall, it's a nice library that will be a regular destination for our family.

I've been to quite a few libraries in my life, but not once have I been to a library so welcoming, clean, plus friendly and helpful as Waukee Library. Every time I go to the Waukee Public Library, I feel safe and welcomed. I love the wide variety of books and movies, and the comfy seats are a wonderful bonus! I also will say that the staff that works there are kind and helpful! I definitely recommend going to the Waukee Public Library.
