The staff at this court house are unfriendly in the most passive aggressive way possible. I called to follow-up on ticket for which I had submitted all the documentation and payment and received zero confirmation or contact.
When I called to follow up I was greeted with a "what do you want, what's your question this ticket is closed." I wanted to confirm that you plebeian pencil pushers received my documents and that is terribly long and absolute BS process has been handled. Thank god I never have to ever live in Cali again. Terrible courthouse.
I will say the judge on the case was rather professional and friendly but the other staff are terribly unpleasant to deal with.

I’ve had couple negative experiences at this location and am surprised that no improvements have been made. Given that these clerks handle important documents that can significantly impact people's lives and schedules, proper guidance and professionalism are crucial.

One troubling interaction was with an individual who identified herself as Jennifer (I can't confirm if this was her real name). She seemed exhausted and uncertain about the information she provided, and her attitude and frequent interruptions were unprofessional.

I encourage everyone to use the Court Visitor Feedback Survey to share their experiences and to reach out to the courthouse's HR department to address these concerns. It’s crucial that they implement quality control measures and provide better training to their staff to improve the overall experience for everyone.

Took only 5 minutes to get rid of my traffic ticket. Very fast, don’t have to wait. Securities were friendly (probably because I’m a skinny Asian) ; P No race joke here?

Watch out for the lawyer Jessica cavellaro and Amy yellen they manipulated and abused people put false accusation even when the persons don’t want and they are stole my property and some of the Hayward cops watch out people , they coerced and torture inside jail , I can’t reveal identity as due to threat from them and stalking , my identity card and debit card and cash is gone watch out people they , are not public servant . I am normal law abiding human being. Watch out ,

One of the rudest conversation I've ever had with someone over the phone.

Called the general help line regarding my traffic violation and the lady who answered was aggressively impatient with me - despite me asking very clear and simple questions. She kept saying "I'm not going to keep repeating myself" despite not really answering my questions.

I'm baffled at how these people can call themselves civil servants and treat members of the public in this way. Oakland needs to do better to provide better training for these folks who are interacting with the public on a daily basis.

Poor actually very poor when it comes to being helpful. I have made arrangements to pay a ticket in installments, my bank sends the court checks every month. The check was delivered but they (the court) hasn't cleared it. So they are sending me notices of failure of payment.

Upon contacting the all the answer I got was that, if I don't pay it'll go to collection. The person I spoke to barely sounded willing to help. She sounded like a (go to hell, I don't care kind of person). That is not how a public servant should be.

Be prepared to be disappointed.

Not as organized as SF, 850 Bryant. Here, instead of setting a date around 60 days in advance, you have to come in early(in line at 8:30) the day that you want to go to court. If it's too close to 9 you won't get on the roster. Right before court they call out the names of the case dismissed. If it's not dismissed I always plead not guilty and they will cut the cost of the ticket usually in half. I've had a red light ticket dismissed after pleading not guilty and open container tickets dropped before going in. My no proof of insurance and registration fix-it fine was dropped after the judge looked up my status with DMV online, wich I had corrected before the court date. If you make an effort you can get your fine reduced or even dropped, but it is all up to the judge and they can take your ability to pay and your respect towards the court into consideration
