Christal recently took team and office photos for our dental practice. She responded promptly to all our questions and found the perfect location to photograph our team. I've struggled for weeks now to find words that do justice to Christal and the gift that is so uniquely hers- Photography. For the past 6 years, I have treasured photos that to me, are my most valued possession... The kind of possession that if my house were on fire and I didn't have digital backups, I would first grab my kids, and then grab all my photos of my kids! Christal has been with our family through baby birth, weddings, holidays, good times, hard times, the good, the bad, and the ugly. And somehow, she always creates something that resembles beauty. Every, single, time.
Family photos don't have to be a stressful event. Christal has 4 very active children of her own. She gets it. And she'll basically follow your family/children around and photograph REAL moments that you can put on the front of your Christmas card. There is no structured posing while the baby cries and the 2yr old squirms. Unless that's what you want...
Christal captures emotion like nothing I have ever seen. She was present for the birth of our third child. We are a "mommy and daddy only" kind of family when it comes to birth, so this was a new experience for us. Having her there was one of the best experiences we have ever had. She respectfully and tastefully did her job while maintaining professionalism. I never felt uncomfortable, and even took a 2 hour nap with Christal right there in the room, quietly going about her work. I always tell people that "only Christal can make a post partum mother who JUST gave birth, look good". She was present at one of my most vulnerable moments. But all jokes aside, it's not the photo editing, or the camera, or the lens. Its Christal. She captures moments.Fleeting moments that I know I will never get back. And I know I will always fall in love with what ever she come up with on the other side of the camera.

I have always wanted a family session done with Christal. Her work is amazing! Some call it photography but I call it art. And I LOVE her artwork! From start to finish Christal was awesome! She helped us pick some great locations and gave suggestions and tips on the colors to wear. At first I was a little worried about getting our pictures taken. With 5 boys who don't like to get pics taken and a 2yr old girl, I geared up for a stressful photo shoot. But it wasn't stressful at all! It was relaxed, natural and fun! My boys even said afterward 'That didn't feel like family pictures, that was fun!' 🙂 Christal's interactions and conversation with each family member made everyone feel comfortable and relaxed, which makes for some great pictures! I thought I would only pay for family pics once in my life (cuz I'm cheap like that :P) but after my experience with Christal I can definitely justify doing it again! Awesome experience and Amazing artwork! Thank you Christal!

We had our family pictures taken by Christal this past summer. My favorite comment about the whole experience was from my very energetic 8yr old son: "Mom, I thought we were going to take pictures. This was too much fun to be family photos!" The success of the day was evident in an amazing--and beautiful--pictorial collection of real laughter and genuine smiles.
