These guys charged me twice in one month, months after I cancelled my subscription. They won't refund my money.

What’s the point writing an article about 3 injured in North side shooting if no one can afford your news paper. I sure do love getting access to only the head lines… NOT!

Hey, Wisconsin State Journal, I got a scoop for you: lower your damn prices! Or better yet, make local news FREE. If I can't afford your newspaper while making 15 dollars an hour you are making news for the rich, not the people.

ASTOUNDED to see that I'm not the only one having issues cancelling my subscription. I spent an hour on the phone getting passed around to cancel a subscription that I had been TOLD was free for six months, and was told all of my information was scrubbed and I would be receiving a refund within 2-4 weeks. 4 weeks later, ANOTHER $10.99 charge.
We'll see if they behave better with my financial's fraud department.

Great place to work! Best newspaper in the state! Sweet work hours. All conveyor belts run flawlessly. Plenty of bundle bags for all the drivers.

You can not cancel your subscription online. It is advertised as being “ very easy to cancel your subscription online at our online site.” this is false advertising and blatant at that! You received an email notification of the expiring online subscription three weeks after the expiration date! Clever! The caller is transferred around, and put on hold for long periods hoping you will get annoyed and hang up. After twenty minutes I was put through to a foreign woman I had great difficulty understanding. I spent another ten minutes refusing offers to stay with the company. I made it quite clear from the get-go I wanted my subscription canceled immediately!! She kept on with the special offers! Once she stopped the pressure I had to wait on hold while she spoke to her superior! I timed the wait. 10 minutes of silence! I'm on the for with the shady business 1 hour- all to cancel an online subscription! Never again!

Echoing what others have said - subscription cannot be cancelled online, must be done by phone. Call goes to overseas support center. In my case, I had emailed someone internally in Jan, 2023 for cancellation (after requesting login support) and had been assured the account would not auto-renew, nearly one year later I was charged $10.99. I was told that I could not be refunded but insisted that I be transferred to a supervisor until someone eventually approved a refund. Remains to be seen if the refund comes through, but not happy with this business or this business practice.

Similar situation as other reviewers! I didn't even realize we had a subscription until I started getting charged $18.99 per month. Come to find out I've been charged $5 per month for the last few years. Shame on me for not paying more attention, but just assumed it was some subscription my husband had. Never logged in, impossible to cancel and work with customer service. No refund for a service I've never used. Beware!
